Steve Cavenee Electric

Had a hardwired heat detector installed in the garage and interconnected to a new smoke detector inside the house. Work was completed well and quickly! Would recommend Steve Cavenee Electric to anybody needing anything done. They also upgraded my circuit breaker from 100A to 200A and it was also done very well.

Robert Hackle, and Steven Martin came to do work on my house. Seemed Very knowledgeable. I asked if they were certified, but one of them said through the company. I'm not sure if personally he was? I was told about at $50 discount if I gave a decent review. I said I would, but felt very uncomfortable because i had to do it right then and I was watched?? While I wasn't completely happy with this company and their billing practices! The kitchen took more than 1 day to do because they didn't have the cans in the truck, the Bathroom Vanity light installation took 3 days to do. 1st installation not centered and was 1/2 inch from the side wall and Loose. They did finally come to center the light and try to fix the issue and I was charged more (Not happy). I was Somewhat happy with the outcome. Make sure you are VERY descriptive with the work you want. Installation to them, just meant basic, not centered, not checked for movement? I should not have had to call 2, or 3 times for them to fix it, then get charged more fir an installation. Check Everything!! Make sure Billing and charges are understood b4 you hire them! I was charged for things I didn't agree with. Glad the jobs are finished.

Owner Steve is a great guy, took his time to explain the whole aluminum wiring situation. He and his Ops guy Shawn provided options to mitigate aluminum wiring issues. Nisi and Blake arrived to do the work-very friendly and hard working guys. They added AFCI and/or GFCI outlets where required. Would highly recommend Steve and his company for any electrical work.
