I think i’m going to rewrite my review. When i first wrote it I was angry, frustrated, and hurt so my words didn’t truly show how awful this organization is. I’m editing this to warn anyone to never ever get in contact with this business. Early this morning my coworkers and I noticed a small frail looking possum outside our windows. We took pictures and said our awes but left it, till 12pm hours later it was still there. This poor small animal looked frightened being so close to the road with random people getting too close and talking to it, we decided to call around to see if there was anything to do. Unknowing to me, my coworker called this business. They told her it would cost $200 dollars to just come out and look at it, Come on?! just to look at it?? I got paid 0 dollars to see it, an initial look shouldn’t cost someone that. A few minutes later i researched a place where this issue could be resolved, and unfortunately, this business was the first result. I called, not even a minute into the conversation the receptionist interrupts me and asks "Is this about the possoum at *says my location* i’ve spoken to multiple people from there and I’ve told them all that there is nothing we can do and there is no one that will help you, you will just have to let nature take it’s course" Mind you this woman had the worst tone i’ve ever heard from a customer service line, I didn’t get help I didn’t get sympathy I got told I should let an animal die just because no one wants to help. At that point I did it myself, we got the possum down from the fence and it safely ran away, no help to anyone especially not this business. How heartless is it to say something like that? Someone seriously needs training and I hope that person finds some type of kindness in their heart…
I Called at 9:30 this morning to report neglect of a goat by a neighbor that has been going on for pretty much the entire summer. This goat has had virtually no shade and continuously runs out of water. I myself and significant other have had to run into this particular neighbor's yard to cut it free from getting stuck in branches by its chain, to keep it from suffocating. That day, he could barely breath, was foaming from the mouth and nose and was really happy to be getting attention from us and another neighbor that came to help us. When the neighbor got home he found us in his yard helping his goat, and told us and the neighbor that was helping, that he's borrowing the goat from a family member to clear his blackberry bushes just for the summer time, he said he didn't consider us trespassing and thanked us. He said we could come down and help his goat out and water the goat and pet his goat anytime (although that is not our responsibility to keep our eye on their goat, we have our own lives). I told him I was about to call animal control because of the neglect, and he tried to make it right by inviting us to his Memorial Day party, which we declined; we were all discusted. I have already tried the u.s. animal control and had no response to my message I left several weeks ago, and their mailbox was full today. When calling Pierce County Animal Control this morning, the woman said they would send out an officer. I called back again at 11, and was told an officer would be sent soon. It is now 12:50 in the afternoon this goat has been crying out all morning, no one has come to his aid. He's finally managed to get some shade. Still NO WATER!!! Why will they not help?! By the way the goats name is Dante. ***Addition: An Officer finally came later that day, and spoke to the owners; as well as called to update me on what was going to happen. I am happy to share, that Dante is now home, and roaming on six acres with his family.
Didn't pick up an abandonment/abused animal who is aggressive and barks half the day and then half the night. The dog is so loud and constant it wakes up myself, my husband and my baby. Is in a kennel next to a shed (the only building on the property) it is not cared for. Animal control posted a warning and then weeks later have done nothing when multiple neighbors have called. Clearly not the people to call to get anything accomplished. I guess we will have to get a lawyer.
Zero response from this department. I only got a phone call after telling them I would leave a voicemail everyday until someone felt the need to do their job and actually call back. Our neighbors dogs bark every night multiple times a night I've tried talking to him but he gets violent and I do not feel safe trying to talk to him myself. apparently the people who are paid to deal with these things just can't be bothered to help.
called because of concern for a dog running around, upper jaw/face gone, malnourished and very severe mange. had to leave a voicemail and they called just to tell me to call someone else...who also will send you to voicemail over and over again, these places will not provide help in emergencies right away and youll never know if an animal was helped or not. I dont know how you can read the first sentence and not jump into action. you make it my job to play telephone while now this dog is far from where i found them, they are suffering. no hearts.
This is the second time I’ve interacted with Poor customer service on behalf of their staff making me very uncomfortable and untrusting of their work. First time after I called over a situation they made the situation worse by driving to my home to talk to me when I was not home instead of waiting for a call back because I was at work then proceeded to create more tension with our neighbors creating he said she said situations and accusing me at the time a worried 19 year old about the dog aggravating her puppy and said that I wished death on an animal… This time around I called about the same issue and the staff proceeded to give me smart remarks and say "you called?" I asked if it was good time to call because they sound like they are not having a good day so I will call later and they proceeded with "if it wasn’t a good time to talk I wouldn’t have called — I don’t know what your asking" with a foul attitude. This is beyond distasteful. Staff needs better training, I sure hope this is not a reflection of their management
I had a very good experience with them they were completely understanding that I was very new at this and I had no idea what I was doing I was applying for a kennel license and not only did they walk me through it but they took extra time on helping me fill out the paperwork and telling me what steps I needed to do. Customer service was phenomenal. They answered all my questions and talk to me about what I should and should not be doing.
