Our two story cape cod home is over 40 years old. These roofers did not disappoint! Exceeded our expectations. Even in the unpredictable cold and windy April weather conditions. Top notch professionalism and service in all phases of the job. Reasonable quote. Andy and Shawn were knowledgeable and kept us informed throughout the job. The hole roofing team was fast, efficient, and took meticulous care of our property. They showed us incomplete attic venting and, in some cases, nonexistent venting in one area of roofing from a more recent add-on build done before we bought the house, that we would never have known about. My experience was excellent at all levels. The employees were courteous and professional. My first contact was Jim M who provided the original estimate (which ended up being quite a bit higher but not a surprise considering the condition of my 30+ year old roof and our unwillingness to cut corners to provide anything less than the best - which is what I got). Andy also provided much needed input to help me better understand the additional costs and why they were recommended/needed. Mike delivered the materials and he too was courteous and professional and one hell of a driver maneuvering his forklift back and forth in my narrow, fenced driveway flawlessly. Shawn (sorry if I misspelled your name) was the head of the crew. He was personable, knowledgeable and continuously kept me informed about changes, updates, any problems they encountered and always checked with me first before proceeding. He has a great rapport with the crew members and they seem to enjoy working with him. His crew was really hardworking, proficient and always cleaned up after finishing for the day. Needless to say I love my new roof (and so do my neighbors!) Would I recommend Van Derhoof? Absolutely!

Van Derhoof just finished putting a new roof on our home. They did a great job. They arrived as scheduled with a crew that clearly took pride in their work. They had everything they needed to complete the roof in a single day. They took great care in covering up plantings and moving deck furniture to keep it out of harm’s way. The supervisor even took pictures to make sure everything was put back as it had been. Roof looks great. We used Van Derhoof many years ago and we are glad we went back to them for this job. They’ve got the experience and expertise you need in work on such a critical part of your home. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Van Derhoof just completed installing a new roof on my house and I couldn't have asked for better work. Professional and obviously very skilled workers and the whole process from beginning to end was great. About 12 guys completed the job in a single day. Just as an extra note, I got 6 quotes and made the right choice.

We contacted Van Derhoof Roofing based on a family recommendation. This company exceeded our expectations. They replaced the roof, gutter and repaired water damage to the front of the house. I highly recommend this company. Work was completed timely, efficiently and professionally. All the workers were very nice and knowledgeable. We live in Wolcott, NY and wasn't sure if they would travel this far, they were happy to accommodate us.
