Verne & Ellsworth Hann

We had a complete combi boiler replacement with Verne & Ellsworth Hann Inc. after receiving the best quote for a highly rated device. Very short wait time - about a week - for the installation after accepting the proposal as well (we were not without heat in that time). Installation technicians arrived on time and were efficient, spread drop cloths down the entire path to the basement. There was a lot of complicated pipe work to refit the new device where it was being installed and the end result is a compact, neat setup. Great job.

Great company to work with, scheduling was very nice and helpful. Our tech, Sean M, that came out was awesome. Explained everything well, got the ol’ unit running perfect.

So up until they got impatient and started demanding full payment before the job was 100% and actually pass final inspection Below review applied But as soon as they wanted the last 6000 dollars on a 30000 dollar job They didn’t give to hoots about where the house was regarding construction They came in unannounced slapped in mixed colored vent covers Cut based molding to make grills fit without making sure the carpenter was finished and don’t give to hoots that all the vent covers have to be removed for painting and finishing of drywall I’ve been the construction industry for 20 years now as a master electrician I don’t think I ever demanded final payment till final inspection was completed on a job And I don’t think I ever trimmed out house before house was completed and trim out ready without having to remove my switches and outlets so they don’t get painted Yes I held back one thousand dollars and filled a complaint with code enforcement Once the house is completed and all the finish work is uninstalled and reinstalled at a cost to me We will pay the final thousand dollars But mark my words the unprofessionalism over the last 6k and the finishing of the job caused me to change my original review Aight aight aight Dan Dan Dan oh Dan is the man oh Dan Dan Dan oh Dan is the man. Yall can go ahead and sing along while reading They should up the removed everything And let me tell you everything needed to go They designed, and installed all new ductwork and HVAC units in a rather complex home, Dale can buy and scoped the job out prior to submitting a quote and they were true to their quote They said what they would do and did what they said. Did I mention Dan is the man. Very very pleased with the outcome and craftsmanship I hope someday I need to replace a full HVAC system again so I can have these guys stop on by Lots of hugs and kisses Very satisfied homeowner PSA it was two full systems not one

When a flushed toilet upstairs led to a waterfall in the finished basement, we knew we had a problem. The pipes in our 1930s house had just reached the end of their useful life. We had the entire drain stack changed out plus the cold water lines to all the fixtures. The problem ended up being bigger than they thought at first but they were very upfront about the need to change the estimate. Given the amount of work and the difficulty of some of it due to things done by the original and previous owners, the price was very fair. Carmen and Bryan did great work!

Tim, Dan, and Jamil worked very hard and efficiently to remove and replace our historic home's boiler. They were very knowledgeable and attentive to every question that was asked during the job. They were determined to finish by the timeline that was given and did so. I would definitely recommend these men to get the job done. With a plus of leaving a clean area after each day.

Verne Ellsworth & Hahn repaired a plumbing leak from the upstairs bath that was going through the ceiling into the downstairs bath destroying the wall and ceiling. It had been repaired 6 months earlier and was leaking again. Les came out and diagnosed it. Then Brian Germatt and David Greene did the 2 day repair. They kept the house clean during the repair and left it clean when they finished. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions. They found the original cast iron main stack to be full of pinholes and replaced it. They even inspected the sewer line to the street. They diagnosed and fixed the whole problem which other plumbers had not done, only giving me a partial temporary fix. I’m very happy with their work and am highly recommending them.

Bryan A and his partner did an excellent job installing my air conditioning and heating systems. Everything was done to perfection. They cleaned up beautifully too!
