ServiceMaster by Rice - Des Moines

Do not hire this company. I was told it would take 2.5 days, it ended up taking 5. Also, had additional damage done that they later wouldn't admit to including damaging my counter tops by unnecessarily trying to remove my sink. Despite conversations with the project manager about this and discussing the crew member should not have tried to detach the sink and therefore denying any of it happened. There is photo evidence this damage was not there before they did their work. Also, steps were missed and then later denied. Including not cleaning microbial growth out of vents and trying to tell me it regrew in a matter of days despite the environmental testing employee saying that couldn't happen. See the before photos taken February 2, 2025 and then photos taken February 19th. Also, the inadvertent damage done to the woodwork on the kitchen island.

The ServiceMaster staff were great. They were very professional and stayed on schedule. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'm happy with the results for my bathroom.

The team at ServiceMaster was excellent to work with. They effectively dried our water problem due to burst pipes and removed damaged floor, wall, and furniture. Their construction team also did an amazing job on the restoration work! They communicated very effectively. Always helpful and willing to answer questions and talk through options.

We had the tank to our toilet in the upstairs bathroom break, causing some flooding. We were very happy with the service we got from service master. They came out the same day to assess the damage, left equipment to dry the area (even gave us a few extra days free of charge) and were all very kind and professional. They were very timely for follow up appointments. The morning of, they would give us a time and were very consistent with showing up at the set time which was much appreciated. We had a great experience and I would definitely recommend them!

They did what they said they would do and answered every question in a timely manner and communicated as they should!!
