Mila's Restoration & Remodeling

After a terrible hail storm resulting in a full insurance claim replacing a roof and siding on the house the last thing I needed was for the contractor to find water damage on the outside of the house unrelated to the storm. My level of adulting had peaked. Calling Mila’s was my saving grace. Turns out our shower was leaking into the wall. For how long? No clue. What FernGully creatures have taken up residence there? I did not want to know. Alex and Natalie walked through the whole bathroom renovations, answering our questions and giving design suggestions. I was so grateful that every process was managed in one project and I didn’t need to make numerous contracts. They made everything simple for me and my husband. And the end result is just a dream. Looking forward to have them work on future projects for the house.

Mila’s Restoration & Remodeling did an amazing job with our overall kitchen renovation! What drew us to Mila’s was that they were a one stop shop of design, construction and all renovation materials. It was nice not having to work separately with a kitchen designer then a contractor and then another company to pick backsplashes or cabinet hardware. Alex and Natalie were very easy to work with on the entire project. We never felt rushed to make decisions, and they were very responsive. They incorporated our ideas and made the process efficient. When it comes time to renovate the bathrooms, we hope to work with them again!

A few months ago I had some pretty extensive water damage on my first floor that leaked down into my basement office and furnace room. I called Alex and he worked with me and my insurance company quickly to help get us back to how things were. Alex had excellent communication and was constantly checking in with me to schedule things and make sure everything was taken care of from drywall, to baseboards, to mudding, and painting. If I had a question about something or didn’t like they way something was going to turn out, he made sure I was happy and wouldn’t stop until I was 100% satisfied. He always responded to my texts any day of the week and answered any calls. Alex and his team were professional, on time, and skilled in everything they did. I even hired them to do some extra painting and fix some other things. They even worked around my floors having to be re-sanded and stained. I never write reviews, but I can’t say enough great things about Alex and Mila’s Restoration and remodeling. They took a horrible situation I found myself and made it much better. My house looks even better then before.

This is an overdue review but I would be remiss to not share about our positive experience working with Alex and his team at Mila’s Restoration and Remodeling. Imagine walking into your basement and seeing water steadily sweeping through your entire floor. For first-time buyers, who had not even lived in our home for a full year, we were in shock and panic as we tried to salvage personal items and deliberate who to trust to deal with the impending repairs. We were lucky to find Alex who led both the mitigation and repair efforts with his team from September - October 2022. From the start, their professionalism, responsiveness and organization put me at ease. Alex gave us a thorough quote, patiently answered all our questions via email and phone, and guided us on how to engage with our insurance company. He was also willing to be budget-conscious and flexible as we began the repair process without compromising on the required needs. Through it all, he was communicative and considerate, giving us regular updates on progress and transparent why things could be taking longer (i.e supply shortages or when we wanted to make some cosmetic upgrades to our basement). This is very minor, but as an example of how considerate they were, his team always made sure to take off their shoes whenever they entered our home. Ultimately, they went above and beyond to complete the job within budget, and the quality of work was better than we expected. Importantly, for us, we feel like we found a contractor who we would trust with any future repairs in our home, and I would highly recommend Mila’s Restoration and Remodeling for your contracting needs. Mila’s restoration & remodeling crew were phenomenal through the project. I am so happy with the results and the amazing customer service! We called them for water damage restoration from a siding leak. They were really conscious of our budget since unfortunately it wasn’t covered by the insurance claim. They explained to us just what was necessary to get it done correctly, removing the siding so that they could replace the rotten plywood. They were able to put back perfectly the siding, which saved us a lot of money, and they were able to replace just the shower walls and the soiled insulation behind. The three other companies we had come out told us they would need to tear out everything inside to get it done. We are so grateful
