I can't say enough good things about Scott Fry! One of my extended family members was at the hospital with his wife who is fighting cancer, and when he came back home the next morning, he found that his house caught fire and would have to be completely rebuilt. Scott showed up on the scene and I was very impressed with how he handled everything. He was so empathetic, informative, and compassionate. He developed trust and walked the family through next steps with honesty and without a hard sale; letting them know they can choose any contractor to do the work. When an inspection revealed mold in the roof & inside one wall, Blue Sky came to the rescue. They were on time, predictable, highly competent, very professional and great to work with - I highly recommend them!

Edit: As per their response, I even emailed them. Not a single response back. Don’t work with BluSky. They can’t provide predictability, accountability, or integrity. Every aspect of working with a company has been a comedy of errors. Don’t hire these people if you: Want to have expectations set before the project. Want the work to be well done. Want the work to pass inspection in fewer than 3 tries. Want to feel confident that the work they are billing you for is work they have actually performed. I’ll try to keep this brief. The only person of this whole operation who did a great job, was the person who sold me the work. He quit within 6 months of starting at BluSky, I think I am starting to see why. I received an estimate of work, and we agreed on a subset of the work. The work took twice as long as expected. This means that my whole house had windows wide open with industrial machines blowing cold winter air throughout. I had to live in my house while this was happening. When the work was done, the inspector came. Failed the work immediately upon seeing their work. This happened 3 times, until the manager personally came to address the issues. It didn’t sound like he could rely on his team. Then starts a process where you realize that they have no idea what work was or was not done. I am told I need to pay the original amount, they have no idea how much was scaled back. But they’ll insist that I should pay the full amount. They charge me for the original scope of work, and ASK ME to spend hours going through the estimate and make an itemized list of the work that they have and have not done. It’s awful to feel disempowered. If they can’t keep track of what work was done, how do you know they even did the work? One example is how they keep billing me for work done on the carpet. I had hardwood floors installed, this work was not done. Do you think they did pay extra attention to my wall sconces that apparently required an extra line item for detail care? I’m not confident any of their work was detailed work. Don’t work with BluSky. They can’t provide predictability, accountability, or integrity.

Working with Scott Fry and Tyler West is a joy! I would in the HOA world, and they typically get involved when something goes wrong and needs immediate attention, so you need a fast-calming response. They are quick to respond and continue their amazing communication until the end of the project. They take the time to explain the process in a way that can be understood by everyone involved. They are wonderful at working through insurance questions and following up with insurance. I would highly recommend their services.

As the Senior Executive Director for a senior living community, my focus during a renovation is to have great communication from start to finish, excellent work, and contractors who are professional and courteous to my many curious residents. Well, BluSky delivered from start to finish. More than a few times I saw their Project Manager Bill, stopping to answer the many questions our residents had with a smile and he always took time for them. I had a great experience with BluSky. They replaced my roof after a hail storm in July of 2019. After I received my initial paperwork from my insurance company, they handled everything form there. The roofers did a great job and took extra care to keep debris and stray nails to a minimum. At the end of each day they went over the area with a magnet to ensure all nails were picked up. I would definitely have them do future projects for me if needed.
