We had a basement we had not got around to trimming out. I saw plenty of great reviews here and went with Smith, it was the right call! It was very easy to get an estimate with a few photos texted over, and they set us up promptly. Burt and Gaige arrived on time and did excellent work. Pleased with the quality and the cleanup after it was done. We will be using them again. Thanks to Smith Handyman service and Burt and Gaige!

This fall we worked with Smith Handyman to have a covered porch built. It is something we had been planning for years and finally decided to go for it. We had the privilege of working with Cody as our sales rep and Larry as our project manager. Cody helped us clearly figure out what we wanted and kept us at our price point. Larry was absolutely amazing to work with as the build started. He kept us informed, communicated clearly, helped us solve several items that came up, and was professional every step of the way. My wife and I could not recommend Smith enough. They are exceptional!

So thankful to Smith for our beautiful new screened in porch! Ethan Stone managed our project and it went smoothly from start to finish. He was a good communicator, easy to work with, and followed through on everything. He showed up when he said he would every time and that is so appreciated. The finished product is better than even expected! We love it & would recommend the company to anyone! We also had a great experience with Gaige who installed a tv mount on the exterior of our brick chimney. He did a super job!

We had an excellent experience with Smith Handyman! Contracted them tear down an old decrepit deck, and rebuild a larger deck with stairs. Cody did an incredible job giving an estimate and clearly explaining the entire process. He understands the proper way to build things and shared his knowledge of how to do it right. He was also very helpful in securing financing to get the job done in a timely fashion. Austin was our project manager and he did an incredible job communicating and executing the plan to our specifications. I truly appreciate their commitment to doing things the right way, providing quality work and craftsmanship. Austin’s crew was incredible. They arrived early and stayed late to get our project done in just a few days. There was fantastic communication before, during, and after the process. They set up, built, and cleaned up quickly and efficiently. We are thrilled with the results, and I am confident that the work they did will stand the test of time. I truly appreciate the hard work and honest communication with Cody and Austin throughout the project, and would highly recommend this crew for any build that you want done the right way.

I have truly been Blessed to have found the Smith Handyman Service. In the beginning, I read the reviews of several businesses in the area, & was most inspired by what I read about Smith Handyman. At a time of major change in my life, I was left with my home, which needed several repairs, changes, & a couple of major rebuilds. I called, & spoke to Lacey. She was friendly! Not often do we experience that these days. I also found Lacey to be very knowledgeable about the repair, rebuild, & add on part of the homeowner business. She asked me questions as I explained that I had decided to downsize, but needed repairs, replacements, & some ideas for updates in & outside my home. Lacey sent me link so that I could send her pictures. At that point, she was able to give me a timeline, an estimate of cost, & an appointment. This was also followed up by an email. I was impressed at how knowledgeable Lacey was with the building & repairing business!! Bert & Gaige arrived, in their fully stocked trucks a little b/4 arrival time! The first item on the list was to rebuild the soffit, 3 stories up. There wed a huge hole! I was so worried snakes, squirrels, bats, or worse, would get up into the attic. Up they went with their ladders, supplies, & after 2-3 hours, they were finished!! When I looked up, the whole corner of the top of my house was brand new!!! They even installed a steel plate first, to ensure that opening was secure, before completion. Since then, Bert & Gaige have repaired, replaced windows, wooden trim, & painted, inside & outside my house. They have built a mantle over a fireplace; repaired flooring, doors, water damage in ceilings, other Sheetrock repair & painting, tile repair, outdoor lighting, concrete porch repair, & several bedroom, & bath remodels. Now that I’ve downsized, they’ve been here for closet remodels, ceiling fan install, door repair, painting, & many other needed upgrades. I have truly been proud to recommend Bert & Gaige; Lacey & Beth as my most trusted, & favorite advisors in the home repair & remodel business. There is nothing they can’t do; happily; professionally, & did I mention that they always clean up after all their jobs!

From start to finish everything went smoothly with no follow-up needed to get the job completed. Burt was sooo patient! He really cared about the work he was doing — you could tell he takes a lot of pride in it. The siding looks great, and I really appreciated how he took the time to explain everything, not just the installation but also little things to keep an eye on as a homeowner.
