Dishwasher flooded into our finished basement and we needed water removal on a Saturday evening. Mark was able to get someone out within an hour and start the drying process. Once the water was gone, we worked with Mark and our insurance adjuster to restore our kitchen flooring and the basement ceiling quickly. In the summer of 2015, my sump pump backed up causing my entire basement to flood with a few inches of standing water. I called Water Damage Minneapolis and within an hour, someone was at my home. I was in a panic as nothing like this had ever happened in our home and I had no idea what to do or what to expect. Mark Mason was a very calming presence and talked me down and then went to work with his crew to find the source of the flood. He walked me through what I needed to do, he worked with my insurance company and assured me that everything would be ok. Through the demo, it was discovered that the backup had been going on for a while and my basement had a lot of mold that I was completely unaware of. His crew worked hard to dry my basement out, rid my basement of any potential mold hazards and created a blank slate for me to rebuild my basement. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service I received, the outcome of the project and was even educated on a lot about water damage and restoration. Mark and his team did a phenomenal job! Informative & Honest My husband called and talked to Mark today. We had various questions around spraying to eliminate house smells, spray insulation and various other items. Tremendous experience! Mark and his team are fantastic - they arrived within 1-1.5 hours of my frantic call and were a very calming presence in what was otherwise a chaotic experience for me. Mark made me feel very comfortable asking questions (I asked a LOT), never making me feel rushed or dumb. His team operated very much the same - Igor came out to cut into my ceilings and wall and was very thorough, clean, and efficient. The price came in exactly as Mark quoted (actually, $100 under:)) - and the results were better than I had initially expected. Mark and his team were very easy to communicate with - they did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. Amazing, amazing service!! Hire this company! Mark is who you want to hire and trust. After the big snow melts and the basement floods ravaged Minneapolis, I called Mark after a Google search and got his voicemail. He texted me and said he would call right back and he did. What he then did was what you wish every person in the service sector would do: he told the truth! He told me that everyone in the industry was swamped (pardon the pun), how insurance wasn’t goi g to cover it, and how the big firms would do their most expensive work saying that the insurance would pay, but then I’d get the bill. Not only that, he said the backlog of work would delay anything for at least a week but how I could do it all myself (well, the mitigation). I’m not terribly handy, but his instructions were perfect: I spent about $500 at Home Depot, incl. a week of fan rental, and got it done with friends in a few hours. His guidance save me thousands of dollars. Whenever I really need his help, he will undoubtedly be my first and only call.
