1st Response Plumber, Water Damage Restoration, Leak Detection of San Diego

Ist Response Plumber did an amazing job locating our leak and repairing it. Juan took the time to explain to us the process as this was a home warranty call. He was friendly and knowledgeable and had the leak repaired quickly. I will definitely be using them in the future if the need arises.

1st Response team convinced me that we should cut my ceiling so we are 100% sure by visualizing the pipes coming from the shower . The moisture level from my own machine and their team was zero but they had a pic infrared which they played me so i believe I need to cut my celling. Apparentiy after cutting my celling the plumbers were surprised on Monday 9/15 that there is no shower on top of the ceiling area under investigation ( Ceiling all time showing zero moisture from the very beginning by their machlnes) They opened it hoping to see shower pipes they find a roof unfortunately! They basically destroyed my ceiling for no reason other than incompetence and rushing to do jobs with not even looking at house layout. I asked charles one of the plumbers what about the shower, he replied that my shower is on top of the kitchen and the kitchen ceiling looks intact and I agree I ask him about the infra red Pic which made us cut the ceiing he says this is normal pic under showersl! So simply it means they changed their words from last week when the lady Angel from the office told me we need to cut it because pics and data supporting the existence of water. their plumber Charies told me today different thing this pic was normal. again why do we cut the ceiling of totally different spot where up there is nothing but roofl! End of this bitter story this company played me they don't do due delegience,waste my time and their time , destroy people's house for no valid professional reason. They don't want to fix my wall and bring it back to their original condition after doing a very bad diagnostic and procedures. ABC any contractor job is look 1st at the house layout before you destroy people's hard earned houses. Sorry but this is really unacceptable procedure and way of doing buisness from this contractor I spoke to another contractor to come fix this he gave me an estimate 750-870$ b he says it takes time. I m demanding reimburse me the cost of cutting my ceiling

Alex, the technician was super. Before he began the work he was very detailed about what he was going to do and always asked before proceeding. Joshua followed up with the restoration portion and worked with us on exactly how to complete the job. I would highly recommend this business when it comes to plumbing and water issues.

Our flushout was clogged, and we had to stop using all things plumbing in the house. We called 1st Response Plumbing and they gave an 11am-1pm service window for the next day. I called at 1:10pm to see if the plumber was on their way, only to be told he was picking up some parts and wouldn’t arrive until closer to 2pm or later if they happen to run into traffic. The plumber showed up at 2pm and would not get out of his car until it stopped raining. It was barely sprinkling at that point. 15 minutes later, he knocks on the door and asks us which toilet. We say, "all of them" and send him back down to the flushout. He gets back in his car because it starts raining and does not get out for another 20 minutes only to tell us he can’t work in the rain and has to go to the next job. We tell him the toilets are full and we would like to shower. He promises to come back after the next job, which will be quick. He never came back or even called and we had to go with another plumber, but now it was after 3pm so they could not make it out until the next day. So now we were 3 days with toilets full and no shower. I will never use 1st Response Plumbing again

My experience with this company was excellent. They made the visit a priority as there was a leak under the home that had been there for a while. They came same day; the technician was professional and wasted no time getting to the root of the problem. He temporarily fixed it, took photos to show us, as it was under the home. The office staff was also excellent and got the approval to repair the leak permanently. He was back within a week and fixed the problem. This call was through my sister in laws home warranty. Very happy with this service.

Alex did a fantastic job solving the leak in my shower. He was on time and quickly solved the problem. He was very easy to work with. Would use again!
