We had three bids to do a complex upstairs of a 19th century West Oakland Eastern Shingle complete with multiple roof pitches and dormers. Not only was Davon’s bid competitive, he and his team completely crushed it. They were fast, efficient, professional. Davon was so easy to communicate with even as things came up throughout the project. We are so happy we chose Landers for this job and all but guarantee you will be too. We will absolutely hire Landers drywall for any future projects we have. Aside from that Davon himself is a rarity in the trades. My wife and I have worked with a wide swath of contractors over the years and Davon’s disposition stands out for all the right reasons. Super nice guy who puts his clients comfort and needs at the center of his attention. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. We’ve spent a fair amount of money rehabbing our home and this might have been the best money we’ve ever spent.

Davon and crew hung and finished my ADU and workshop. They were excellent. They showed up when they said they would, kept the work site clean. Most importantly, their workmanship was great. The vaulted ceiling and detail around the exposed rafters was excellent. I’d highly recommend Davon and his crew for any Drywall projects.

Landers Drywall was a pleasure to work with. The owner, Davon came to our house to see project, take measurements and pictures. It wasn’t a huge job but one that had a number of corners, openings and 9’ + ceilings. The quote for job was very reasonable and fair. Davon and his crew were punctual and did a great job. The communication and follow-up were also excellent. I always knew who and when they were coming to work on the project. At the end of each workday they thoroughly cleaned up. Finally, they completed work right on time so I could continue finishing work. I was so pleased with their work that I am having them quote on my next project.

I contacted Davon very stressed when my bathroom contractor told me the price he quoted me not only did not include replacing old lathe and plaster with new drywall, but he would not do it. Davon was wonderful though. He did a site visit immediately, gave me an itemized quote so I could decide what parts of the project to do, and he sent a team to start right away. This helped minimize the timeline disruption for my bathroom remodel project. Davon had such great communication the whole time. He was so patient despite the terrible communication from my bathroom contractor. And the work was excellent. I have no idea how the price compares to other companies, but it was definitely worth it and felt reasonable. I even had to adjust the scope mid-project to use a more expensive purple drywall that would pass inspection, and he included it at no extra cost. Above and beyond amazing! Thank you for being so patient and kind despite the terrible communication from my general contractor. Update: we accidentally put a hole into the plaster ceiling. We called Lander’s Drywall and they were able to come same week to patch it. Thank you!
