I had an amazing experience with this company for leak detection and a hot water plumbing reroute. From start to finish, they were organized, honest and incredibly efficient. A special shoutout to Mike, who truly made the difference. He arrived promptly, explained everything clearly and you could feel his enthusiasm for his work. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient with all my questions, and very easy to talk to. It’s rare to find someone who is both skilled and approachable, but Mike was exactly that. They worked quickly, kept me updated through every step and made a stressful situation so much more manageable. If you need leak detection or reroute plumbing, I highly recommend them and definitely ask for Mike!

DO NOT rely on the leak detection reports generated by this company. In October, we used City Water Conservation only for a leak detection report so that we could figure out where the pipe went that was leaking underneath our house. The report was wrong and useless, and they will not admit that. The report indicated where the leak was – we already knew where the leak was as that is why we called in the first place – but it told us the pipe that was leaking led to the bathroom. In fact, the leaking pipe led to the kitchen and the reroute through the walls had to go to the kitchen, all the way on the other side of the house from the bathroom. What is the point of a $395 report that tells you the leaking pipe leads in the totally wrong direction? Naturally, I asked for a refund. The owner refused and profusely blamed me and the plumber I used. We simply relied on the report that we paid for. They refuse to admit their mistake in that they generated a report that said the wrong thing. They were extremely unprofessional on the phone to me. I called again today to give one more chance to refund the $395, giving fair warning that I would write this review. The employee (James) I spoke with was again very unprofessional and said to me, "Knock your socks off!" and "We don’t take bribes!" They believe to refund someone’s money for a report that was wrong would be accepting a bribe. They insist that we needed to get the pipes tested before performing the reroute that their report (and incredibly expensive estimate leaving holes in walls) recommended. They insist that therefore it was completely my fault for not accepting their overpriced estimate and having them do the repair work, and my plumber’s fault for relying on their report. This does not refute the fact that their report was wrong. As you will see in their inevitable reply to this review, they will not focus on what their own report said but instead will place blame elsewhere. You cannot rely on the inaccurate leak detection reports and you cannot rely on them to properly and professionally address any concerns.

This company did some repair work for us that was needed due to an underground water pipe burst. I called them to locate the leak and the did locate it when the county water agency could not find it. The repair work was done with the understanding that they would help us recoup some of the money from our insurance carrier. The work they had done was just to the repai of the broken pipe, they left the holes in the walls and floor to me to find someone else to fix. I do not reccomend this company for water leak repair as you will find much better companies that will do the work on the leak as well as the walls and the floor, and not leave you hanging. According to my general contractor that does repairs on homes for a living and has done them for over 40 years, the cost of the repairs that city water Conservation was much higher than my contractor would have charged. Please seek your leak detection from other sources.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They came out the day after Christmas to help find a leak in my home. They were able to fix the leak three days later without tearing up my floors or ceilings and came in under budget! They helped us navigate the insurance claim, provided a detailed report with photos, up-front pricing and explained our repair options very clearly. Jamie and his team were respectful, polite, worked quickly and my house was spotless when they left. I would highly recommend this company.

I called City Water Conservation when I received a leak letter from the city. I had recently had irrigation done. The gentleman on the phone talked me through a diagnosis and even FaceTimed with me to help me turn off the valves while I wait for repair. He also walked me through how to check the meter in real time which helped to isolate the leak. In the future I know how to check the water meter when I have plumbing work done to verify there are no leaks before the workers leave. A great tip! I wouldn’t hesitate to call these guys again. Super honest, super helpful. A+

Can't say enough about this company. Michael came out the same day he was notified, found the leak 2 other plumbers passed on and did an emergency patch until insurance issues were resolved. He was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

We had an emergency water leak and started looking for company that could do a good job and not gouge us in the process. One of the contractors we spoke with is City Water Conservation. They had the answers to our questions, the price was good, and they performed as professionals, but most importantly they gave me my options, pricing and completed the job within and earlier than time time estimated. Just talking with them you could feel their desire to be the best.
