Anderson group was highly professional and very responsive when we needed mold remediation. They did the job properly, containing treatment areas so mold spores weren't migrating to other parts of our home. Jay Rollefstad was the project manager, he and his team went above and beyond to meet our time frame and point out the measures that would need to be taken by our contractor to assure we wouldn't have further water damage in the future. Highly recommend.

Osmin Zelaya at AGI is the best! Testing our home for mold (done through a separate company) was a last-ditch effort to figure out what was causing my "mysterious" illness. Turns out it was black mold, which we later discovered was hiding behind the walls and under the floorboards of our forever home. It was overwhelming to be sick and simultaneously try to find the right company to remediate the mold, but hiring Osmin Zelaya and his team at AGI in San Jose was definitely the right choice. Osmin is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced about where mold lurks in homes. But he is also down-to-earth and honest, taking us through each step of the process in terms we could understand and patiently answering our questions. We were hesitant about some of his recommendations at first because we didn’t want to tear apart certain areas of our dream home. Osmin didn’t push us; he simply gave his reasoning backed up by his experience. After doing the rest of the mold remediation work, we ultimately decided to follow all his recommendations because we trusted him. AGI remediates mold safely, whether you are living in your home during remediation or not. This keeps their work crews, you, and the rest of your belongings safe throughout the process. Every single person who came to work on our home was genuinely friendly and caring. They treated our home with care, protected our belongings, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Their positive attitudes and respectful approach made a world of difference during such a challenging time. The work that they do is thorough and detailed. They take tons of photos so you can see what is being done even if it is not safe for you to be in the area of your home being treated. Osmin will explain the steps they take to thoroughly remove mold so you can be confident it will not come back if you stop the underlying source of water damage. If you are like us and have not been through mold remediation before, be aware that a separate company will be needed for pre- and post-remediation testing (if you want that). You will also need to hire a separate contractor to replace or repair to any parts of your home that AGI needs to tear out because of mold or water damage. Osmin will explain all of this, but it is something we were not aware of before our initial meeting with him. Although I hope we won’t ever need their services again, I would not hesitate to hire Osmin and AGI in the future.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with AGI, and Osmin in particular! My entire family has had terrible luck with water damage - he has helped my parents and both of my siblings fix the water and mold problems in their homes over the past couple years. After we had a few recent leaks, my mother offered to put me in touch with Osmin for advice as she felt he was the best and she had great experiences with him in the past. We live in Southern California and he offered to consult or help in any way he could. Ultimately we decided we trusted him more than anyone else and knew his work was unparalleled, so it was worth paying the additional travel costs for his team to come do our remediation from Northern California. He and his team were professional, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly respectful of our home. I am pregnant and have some additional health content, and they were extremely diligent about containing the moldy environment while they remediated. Osmin had a lot of knowledge about the health impacts of mold and what needed to be done to make the area safe. His team also did everything they could to be as non-disruptive as possible since we chose not to love out. It made the process much less stressful. We had a large amount of visible mold prior to remediation, and Osmin encouraged us to test afterwards to make sure they got everything - our mold results (from a separate company) came back completely in the clear after the remediation. We have so much more peace of mind now that our house is free of mold. At every step I felt like Osmin’s priority was our health and wellbeing, and doing everything he could to fix our home to the best of his ability. I cannot recommend working with Osmin strongly enough.

We are very grateful to Anderson Group and our project manager Jay for their mold remediation work on our house. Communication is very important to us, especially because we were out of town for the majority of the remediation process. They had great communication with us and with our build-back contractor, helping us not only through the process of removing the mold, but also in figuring out how to repair the house to keep the mold from coming back. Their work was thorough and we are very happy with the result. They were also incredibly sensitive and responsive to my mold related health issues. We hired Osmin Zelaya at Anderson Group International because my doctor recommended him -- and it turned out to be a really enjoyable working relationship, in spite of our mold situation. Osmin is so friendly and knowledgeable -- we have learned so much from him that we could not find anywhere else. He understands how to remove mold safely, and thoroughly, without compromising my asthma with toxic and/or smelly chemicals. His containment and cleaning techniques are far more extensive than anything we could find online, and it is so wonderful to have found someone who holds a high standard for medical-level mold remediation.

We had a potential mold problem in our home making one of our kids very ill. After hours and hours of research, I kept hearing about AGI. Osmin came out to do the inspection and it was clear he understood mold illness, and this was the right company. I had read so much about people trying to take shortcuts or cheaper bids but if you are sick from mold, you do not want to cut corners. This company truly understands and does the most thorough job. Jay Rollefstad was our project manager and again, he was top notch in his understanding of mold. He inspected our crawl space and went over and above to ensure the job was done correctly. The team who came out was timely and got the job done in the length of time they said they would. They followed up with pictures and showed us exactly what they found. This process is not cheap, but it is worth every sleepless night wondering what is going on behind your walls. We will have them come back to deal with our upstairs next.

Osmin Zelaya at Anderson’s Medical Mold group has saved my bacon more times than I can count. As a patient with CIRS (mold illness), MCAS and MCS, finding housing that passes environmental testing and inspection is critical to my wellbeing. I take Osmin on every apartment tour so he can look for signs of water damage with his thermal camera, moisture meter, and trained eye, so that I know whether it’s worth doing ERMI and Pathways testing and applying. When I have issues that come up, it’s usually an emergency to have it fixed as fast as possible. His team is able to come out, set up containment, investigate the issue, and then remediate as needed to a medical standard. I also use his team to do in depth particle cleaning in every unit prior to move in, and annual medical CIRS-grade cleaning of the HVAC system and appliances. They are also able to do particle cleaning moves, in which every non-porous item is particle cleaned with HEPA vacuums and microfiber cloths with air scrubbers running, then safely packed. This is critical to save possessions when moving out of environments with toxic mold. Unlike other groups I have worked with, they don’t cut corners. Osmin always takes my health symptoms seriously and makes a special effort to get to things promptly. He’s integrated with specialists like John Banta, mold dogs, and testing companies.
