Response: We were talking to the project manager as recently as this week and they didn’t mention billing once. As for the insurance piece, we explained over the phone that the settlement is pending and your amount was included, we needed a few extra days to get this done and you would not listen. You had my wife in tears. I appreciate the professional tone of your response, but you sure didn’t have this tone talking to my family, threatening them for payment. Also, you clearly didn’t have the right contact info. This company is run by clowns. After promising several times throughout the sales process that this wouldn’t turn into a collect call while we were working through the details, they called up my wife out of the blue and demanded payment. And we were speaking with Michelle the GM. Meanwhile, my basement is still half torn apart. They don’t care about you or your house. Given this is a commodity service, go with the other guys

Very knowledgeable about what it would take to clean and repair my basement after my water leak. Very polite and professional. When they found out I had a rescue dog in boarding, they worked extra so we could get our pet back home. Thank you for the extra attention.

The guy first said $1,000, then changed it to $1,000–$1300. When I was finishing the conversation, I specifically asked again about the price, because I know the games these companies play, and at that point he said it would be around $ 1300- $1500. I even told him directly that he had already bumped up the price three different times within that 15 minutes. I normally would never use companies like this because I am done dealing with people who operate that way. The only reason I agreed was because I assumed it would be covered through insurance. Of course they insurance company denied the claim. The actual repairs only cost $1,200, yet these guys want to charge $1,767. All they really did was cut open the drywall, tear up the carpet halfway, remove some baseboards, and run four fans for two days. That pricing is completely unreasonable.

My insurance company chose Service Master after my upstairs neighbor had a pipe burst and got my home in the process. My adjuster assured me it would be wonderful! WELL They exceeded my expectations beyond belief. Nothing but courteous and respectful the entire process. From the first guys who immediately started to mitigate any further damage. The Asbestos removal company they used even walked me through step by step how it would work and how long it would take. (They finished early) I did have to wait just a little bit before the repair could start However; they communicated the whole way through. My Finished repairs are so amazing!! They even left me the extra paint in the can if I want to touch up other rooms with the same color. (They are all the same color) Shout out to my insurance adjuster for picking these guys!!

ServiceMaster was at our home within 2 hours of our call. Mitigation work started immediately. Restoration was started within a couple of days after mitigation was complete. All staff was considerate, kind, polite, friendly and very helpful. All work done was a very good quality. Dealing with the damage was made better by using ServiceMaster. Highly recommend the Salt Lake City office.

Mike and Nate are excellent at what they do! They are prompt, communicate well and if any issues arise they make it right. Great company.
