When I found mold in my basement, I reached out for Mold remediation anf some after research, I decided to use First Response. They immediately came to my home and gave it a thorough inspection. I was given a very fair price and decided to have them take care of the problem. They explained technically what needed to be done and performed all of the operations with the proper products and enthusiasm. When they were done, I felt the results were spectacular. I strongly recommend First Response. They were professional, courteous, and the follow up was amazing. I am one happy homeowner.

I had a terrible experience with this mold remediation vendor. I was referred to them and told to speak with Mike, but was then passed to Fred, who turned out to be unprofessional and difficult to work with. I had to follow up multiple times after a promised time to receive a quote, and ultimately, Fred refused to work with me on rebuilding the areas they had torn down. While they completed the mold remediation, when I asked about rebuilding the kitchen cabinets, drywall, and painting, Fred provided a high quote. When I asked for clarification, he became increasingly defensive and eventually refused to continue the work. When it came time to remove their equipment, they picked up their equipment and left despite the leak source being obvious and the area remaining wet. I had to hire another contractor to complete the work. To make matters worse, after I involved my insurance, their quote increased by over $1,000, seemingly taking advantage of the situation. While they have great reviews and were referred to me, if you decide to hire them, I would caution anyone to avoid working with Fred and specifically request Mike. Hopefully, your experience will be better.

As long distance property managers of our rental home in New Jersey, we so appreciated the ease with which First Response responded to an weekend emergency call regarding a flood in our basement. After cleaning out the water, removing damaged flooring and baseboard, and drying the basement, we agreed to have them complete all the restoration work, including purchasing and installing new flooring. Not only did all the kind people at First Response work with our insurance company, they guided us through every step of the way in the process, patiently and professionally. Most important they performed all the work efficiently and perfectly. We strongly recommend them.

These guys were GREAT! They showed up quickly, did what they had to cleaned up after themselves. They were all very pleasant, and answered my questions. They also made it a point to tell me what to expect moving forward. They sent an affiliate right away to measure the floor. Yesterday, Mike came with floor samples. I chose one and now, I KNOW, they'll contact me with info about the installation. A crisis put me in a position to hire this company, but I'm glad to have met this crew. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
