Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation

I recently had Ideal Air Conditioning & Insulation replace my AC system and add ductwork. The installation crew did a fantastic job — they were thorough, professional, and clearly skilled. The new return they installed greatly improved static pressure, and the system now operates much more efficiently. Their pricing was competitive compared to other bids I received, and they offered a strong overall value for the work performed. That said, I did run into a few bumps during the process. Coordinating with my home warranty company proved difficult — Ideal did provide diagnostic information, but follow-through on some requests and communication around those requests could have been smoother. On one of my early calls, the person who answered sounded a bit annoyed, and on subsequent calls I’ve occasionally felt like my call might be inconveniencing them. Also, while their website lists "24-hour service," it’s not obvious that this is meant for emergency situations only, and their standard business hours aren’t made clear online. Overall, though, I’m happy with the quality of the installation and the results. I’m confident the improvements will pay off in comfort and performance, and I appreciate the team’s skill and professionalism.

I actually googled Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation as a second bid. I had a Mitsubishi Mini / Split in my 2 car garage in Desert Ridge house. I wanted the same installed in our new house in Cave Creek 2 car garage/ 1 car garage before moving in. My first bid was the company that installed the Mitsubishi, but now wanted to install a Trane Mini/ Split ( was low-balled--extremely low price). Ideal Electric company sent Ryan Tracey ( engineer- efficiency expert ) out to survey garages at the new house. He was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Later that day we decided to go with Ideal. After signing a contract, we were quickly contacted by their office personnel Elaine Reid. We decided to have Ideal install two 1 ton Mitsubishi Mini/ Splits. Excellent choice and quality ( installed June, 2025). Eric, Mike, and Jamie his team did a great job installing our 1 ton Mitsubishi. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. They installed two wall quality units on June16,2025 at a fair price. Excellent communication before, during, and after installation. Unusual occurrence one Mini /Split remote ( brand new ) did not work effectively. No hassles. They replaced it with a new one and personally delivered it to my house a month later. I would highly recommended Ideal Air Conditioning to anyone needing a new A/C unit.

After realizing our 20+ yr old split HVAC system was finally starting to fail us and was not worthy of the high repair bill we were quoted we started shopping around for a new unit and eventually met with about 6 different companies for estimates. Ideal Air was one of the first companies we met with due to their exemplary reviews and their rep Ryan came and answered all our questions and laid out the options based on our parameters budget etc. He was very informative and knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of good information and was very accessible through out the process. At no point did we have anyone apply pressure or scare tactics to entice us. After meeting with all the other various reps we ended up going back to Ideal Air as they had the best combination of price and brands that we wanted as well as experience and knowledge, the fact that they are locally owned and run is also a plus. The installers arrived at 0700 on the agreed upon day and were done installing everything around 3p that same day. This crew was professional and efficient and everything was completed as expected and the clean up was thorough. We had some minor issues with the thermostat settings the first couple days but we were able to resolve the matter with a phone call with one of their techs. Their office staff has been responsive and pleasant during all our interactions and I have already recommended them to a couple of acquaintances. We are thrilled with our new AC as the improved comfort level and reduced noise levels are already very apparent.

I had a great experience with this company! We had a LOT of work done at our house to reinsulate our house, correct duct work issues, and correct some issues with our AC air handler setup. All of the workers I spoke with were pleasant and informative when answering all the questions I had. The team worked efficiently and finished the project in two days, as they originally quoted. Communications with the main office were always pleasant and easy. Since the work has been completed, I have noticed an immediate improvement in the performance of my home's ability to stay cool, even in the hot 115° AZ weather. The ductwork functions much better now and the airflow feels much stronger than it used to be at the vents.

I am quite impressed with the quality of their work. I recently had 2 new Trane heat pumps and air handlers installed. I selected Ideal based on their reputation and lack of BBB complaints. They took extra care to ensure a quality installation, including: -- Filling the copper lines with nitrogen when brazing to prevent copper oxide inside the lines -- Running a new refrigerant line because the original line diameter was not to spec -- Upsizing the return register and the ducting in the attic to optimize efficiency. None of the other companies mentioned these factors in their quotes. Their three-man crew was in the house for 2 full days, always respectful and ready to explain everything they were doing. Everything under the attic access was covered, and everything was clean when they were done. I spent a lot of money on this upgrade, but the quote was in line with other companies, and the final installation is top-notch.

Eric and his team did a great job installing our 4 ton Trane unit today. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. They installed a quality unit at a fair price. We knew we wanted a Trane unit but called multiple A/C company's and they came in with not only the best price but also the Trane units we were looking for. The day I called I was just looking to get a phone quote but they wanted to have a efficiency specialist come and do load calculation for free. They sent Marc the next day and he took about an hour to run the numbers and gave us a few quotes for different types of units. He wasn't pushy, and left without us making a decision at the time. Later in the day we decided to go with Ideal Air. After signing the contract we were quickly contacted by Ideal Air to set up the install, they offered to come next day to have it installed before the heat of this up coming week (4/8/25). We were unavailable, but the day we wanted 4/8 they got us scheduled for. I would highly recommended Ideal Air Conditioning to anyone needing a new A/C unit.

I needed a new AC for my home in Chandler, and spoke to lots of companies before going ahead with Ideal Air. Sales/engineering was FAR more thorough than other companies in assessing my home and making sure we were getting a properly sized unit. The installers were also very professional and cleaned up after themselves. To top it all off, I had an issue with my funds on the day of the install and Ideal worked with me on a solution that was acceptable to everyone. Honestly, just a terrific experience overall. I'll absolutely work with them going forward.
