Then to find a knowledgeable, professional but friendly and personable technician who fixed our issue quickly….what a bonus. Can’t say enough good things. 5280 Appliance Repair did an awesome job fixing our Kenmore double oven! They were assigned to us by our home warranty company and they contacted us within 24 hours after we put in a ticket. Appointment scheduling was super easy and the technician arrived within the window and immediately diagnosed the issue (our bottom oven would not turn off) within 30 minutes. He explained what was wrong to me and gave me a timeline on when I could expect the repair since he needed to buy a part. Within a week they had the part ready and repaired the oven in 20 minutes! The technician was professional and efficient and made the whole process very simple for us. When he arrived a little early he even waited outside until the start of our window and I very much appreciated that since we have two large dogs that need to be separated when we have repair people over. Response time to inquiry was unparalleled. It was immediate. And on a weekend. And then I had another appliance (dryer heater) crap out at the same time. These guys responded immediately, got someone out same day. They fixed both of my problems at once for much much less than I thought it would be. This is old school service that you don’t find much anymore. Their biz card is now taped to my fridge.

I want to thank 5280 for assisting with my dryer issue during the recent visit. I truly appreciate the help in identifying the problem—a necklace stuck in the motor. That said, I felt unsettled being charged $200 for the visit, considering the overall experience. Prior to the technician’s arrival, I had already removed the screws from the back of the dryer in an attempt to troubleshoot the issue myself. During the visit, there was a floating part in the dryer and I helped the tech by googling it (LG Dryer Guide cover) as the tech was unsure of what it was and where it belonged. Near the end of the appointment, the technician mentioned while screwing in the back of the dryer, that repair professionals typically avoid working on appliances that have already been disassembled and that he only accepted the job because no one else wanted it. His work days are only Monday through Friday. Remarks like these are unnecessary and unprofessional. Additionally, three screws were left out after the repair, and I was told a part was missing for the dryer tube connection—something I later discovered was not the case. While I’m grateful for the assistance, the overall experience left me disappointed in the level of service. For these reasons, I won’t be using this business again. Update: I did receive a call from Ryan. Not only did he apologize, but he also genuinely listened and asked thoughtful questions about how things could be improved. I think that speaks volumes about his character and commitment to progress.

Our dryer's power button stopped working and rather than call our usual appliance repair company, a friend recommended we try Ryan and his crew. Ryan was super communicative and put me right at ease! In less than 3 business days, Ryan had dispatched techs to investigate the problem (who were themselves very professional AND found a temporary solution on site), then tracked down an after-market replacement button after only 6 hours from the initial appointment, and at an extremely reasonable price for both service fees and parts. My partner and I are extremely impressed and 5280 Appliances is now our "usual company" for appliances. Given that our fridge is making funny sounds now, I don't think we'll be strangers!

Ryan was awesome. He was super helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with my refrigerator repair issue. He even went out of his way to communicate with my landlord the issue. I would recommend Ryan and his team for any appliance repair questions/ concerns.

Ryan took my call right away and troubleshot my dryer not heating over the phone & quoted the repair and sent a tech the next day. The tech got everything working perfectly and we couldn’t be happier with 5280 appliance repair. Thank you and we will be using in the future for all our appliance needs. UPDATE: We actually had a follow-up issue & 5280 Appliance Repair came right back and fixed the problem as soon as I reported it. This company is fantastic and highly recommended for their great & timely service.
