I had a disappointing and frustrating experience with ABA Appliance that I feel is important to share. In 2023, my dishwasher stopped working at a rental property I own, so I called for a diagnostic service, advertised at under $100. The technician discovered the problem—a simple pulled plug—during the diagnostic itself. Despite this, I was billed $266, nearly triple the quoted fee, without any prior discussion or approval. The invoice (photo of repair notes attached) even states the fix was part of the diagnostic. I was not contacted until after the technician had already left the property, and I never agreed to pay more than the diagnostic fee. At the time, with a 5-month-old at home and a commitment to paying my debts promptly, I paid the bill despite the bad taste it left in my mouth and chose not to dispute it. Yesterday, when the same dishwasher began acting up again, I gave ABA a chance to make it right. I requested a waiver of the diagnostic fee, pointing out that I had already paid well above the standard amount in my last interaction. I made it clear I was willing to cover any reasonable repair costs; I just wanted someone to confirm it was fixable and provide a price before investing a quarter of the dishwasher’s value into another diagnostic. My request was denied solely because I hadn’t complained back in 2023 "and there was no history of this issue." After reading other 1-star reviews, I see I’m not the only customer who has experienced this exact situation. This experience highlights a serious need for post-service quality control at ABA. Charging well above the quoted amount—especially without customer consent—undermines trust and professionalism. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend ABA Appliance and strongly encourage others to look elsewhere for service.

This is not my first time to use ABA Appliance. They have also serviced my stove. The team keeps you posted on arrival times and has always been timely in getting to my place. Jeremiah is respectful of property, communicates all that you need to know about the problem and listens carefully. I highly recommend ABA Appliance and will use them again in the future.

Our washer needed a repair that was made complicated because it was a stacked unit in a very small area. Jeremiah knew what was wrong right away, ordered the part and in just a few days the washer was back in business. Everyone I spoke to was so considerate and they kept me informed all along the way. ABA is now in my contact list for any repairs we may need in the future. They are the best!

Great office support. Came within time promised with 30 min notice. Sent name and photo of the technician for safety purposes. Jeremiah was friendly, competent, an all around pleasure and great company rep. Will definitely do business with them again and refer folks to them.

ABA saved my old Sub Zero refrigerator. Kendall and Humberto were both great. We needed a new compressor. It was a big investment. They were honest and even included some supplemental repairs at no additional cost to make sure the job was done right. The work was performed quickly and professionally. Thank you ABA.
