I recently had my refrigerator repaired by Fred’s Repair, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They scheduled me quickly, arrived right on time, and handled everything with care and professionalism. The technician was polite, explained the issue clearly, and even did some light housekeeping after finishing the job — everything was left spotless. My fridge is working perfectly again! It’s rare to find such fast, courteous, and reliable local professionals these days. Highly recommended!

Drove an hour outside of their normal radius to come fix my dryer with a 24 hour notice on a Sunday. Extremely nice and helpful on the phone. Very easy and hassle free to set up services. The technician was great and spent several hours fixing the dryer. Showed up with replacement parts already in hand in anticipation of what the problem would be. If we ever have another appliance issue will be using this service again. Extremely nice and knowledgeable people and excellent service.

Furkan was efficient and super helpful in meeting all of our needs. The ability to have service scheduled and rendered before a major holiday was very important to us. We appreciate the prompt response with scheduling

I had a problem with my washing machine and needed a new water valve. Furkan came to diagnose the problem, ordered the part, and quoted me a price, which I accepted. I didn't get other quotes but the price seemed reasonable enough. Furkan said it should take 3-4 days and I would get a call to schedule the appointment. I hadn't heard anything for 9 days so I called and they scheduled me for the next day. Not sure how much longer it would have taken if I didn't follow up. Anyway, Furkan returned to make the fix and he did a very nice job, the work seemed thorough. Everything is working good now.

Update: Finally received my refund so adjusting my review. Original Review: I had a rough experience with Fred’s Appliance Repair after my dishwasher broke last month. While I understand that some issues may be out of their control, the real problem was the lack of communication and poor customer service from the office. The technician was fine. Here’s what happened: • I contacted them on August 11. To their credit, they responded quickly and sent a technician the next day. • The technician diagnosed the issue as a faulty control panel and quoted me $440: $220 for the part, $200 for labor, and an $80 service fee. Talking to the new company I went with, they would have charged me half of that for labor. • Not wanting to lose the $80 fee, I agreed to the repair. I was told the part would arrive in 3–4 days. Over the next three weeks, I had to keep reaching out for updates., they told me the part had to be reordered. A week later, I was told it "never arrived". At that point, they gave me the option to wait again or cancel the repair. After a full month without a working dishwasher and no reliable timeline, I decided to cancel. I ended up buying a brand-new stainless steel dishwasher from Lowe’s for $400 and had it installed quickly by someone else.

The repair person came quickly, communicated effectively, and resolved my issue. That said, the pricing was SIGNIFICANTLY higher than what was reasonable for the cost of materials and total time it took to evaluate the issue, with the bill coming it at over $400 for less than 15 mins of work and one hose replacement. I looked online and the cost of the hose itself was under $20. I honestly felt ripped off. To be clear, this had nothing to do with the service technician as I know he was just doing his job, but unless you are in URGENT need of a fix, I would advise waiting for another company with more reasonable pricing. What is presented on their website for diagnostic services is misleading based on what they charge for parts+labor- be prepared to pay 500-700% more (easily) than diagnostic costs.

I had technician Samir JabbarlI from Fred's Appliance Repair come to service my washer yesterday 10/12/25. He informed me that needed a panel that would cost over $500 including labor. Samir did not do anything when he came to repair my washer put google an image on his phone. When in fact I needed a pump for my washer that I had another company come and repair it. I also asked for a copy of the part that he said I needed. I still have not received any correspondence. I also called him the same day and he hung up the phone on me. Also note that some of the positive reviews are from the people who work for the company. I feel scammed.
