I had Nelson and Justin come to my home this past weekend because my 30 year old furnace stopped working. They were both very kind, knowledgeable and professional. However, they saw the furnace and immediately took the situation as a sales pitch. They quoted me $26k for a new system. As a single mom, I was sick over it. I didn’t pull the trigger and said I was going to get other quotes. I had small business install the same system for $10k yesterday. That’s a $16k difference. Having a salesperson show up on a service call is the first sign it’s a sales pitch. Shameful.

If zero was an option, I would give them it. $100 to walk in our door and tell us they don’t know what is wrong with our system. They wanted 1,000.00 to drain and refill the hot water system with no guarantee of a fix? They installed the boiler, you would think they could send someone trained in the repair of it. Well they made the response below. I followed up with contact information and have heard nothing back from them. Seriously folks they are trying to look responsive but no follow through.

Sunbeam is a top-notch company. All of their workers are kind, efficient, respectful, and knowledgeable. They don’t try to sell you on products/services you don’t need. They are flexible with their scheduling, and in emergencies, their response time is impressive. I highly recommend them.

Nelson and Justin were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They walked me through the current state of our furnace, AC, and water heater, and made some recommendations to maximize their lifetimes. Appreciate that they weren’t pushy or salesy about it - just stated their findings and suggestions. Hope they get assigned to our home again!
