Taking advantage of the elderly! I run a local IT repair shop, and had a customer call and state they tried calling HP, and were unknowingly redirected to US Repairs. They ended up paying a whopping $1300 fro some Premium Plan?? Stop taking advantage of the elderly, who do NOT understand exactly what you are trying to sell them!
I contacted HP to install my new HP printer and thought I was dealing with HP!! After spending 2 hours getting my printer online, they offered me a 3 or 5 year service plan which I took thinking it was HP! They now claim that the $549 charge was for their services! They won't itemize my bill and refuse to refund the 5 year plan! So I paid $549 for two hours of work! However, the printer does now work. Moral of this story...ask UPFRONT before engaging the services of USRepairs LLC.
