When my Maytag HE front load washer settings stopped working, I filed an online claim through Old Republic, my home warranty company. Honestly, I wasn't thrilled when I read reviews on Old Republic, Adept and home warranties overall, but I decided to try. I paid a $100 service visit fee. Process went smoother than expected. Richard from Adept came by to take a look at my washer and determined what the issue was in less than 20 minutes and that it would be covered by my home warranty. Adept ordered the part and it arrived in two weeks which Richard communicated to me. I received a call from Adept to schedule my installation appointment. Ely from Adept installed it in less than 30 minutes. Both Richard and Ely arrived within the 4 hour window of their visit and contacted me when they were on their way. Everyone from Adept was pleasant to work with and I would recommend them based on my experience. My washer works great now!

I had a WONDERFUL experience with Adept Appliance Service. I had a work order from Old Republic Home Warranty to service my refridgerator and washer. I called and spoke to Richard and, despite the fact that the company was in the throes of moving, he was able to get a technician out the very same day which was unlike my previous experience with other companies. Not only that, but Elijah had the part on his truck to repair my washer which absolutely made my day! I hadn't been able to do clothes for several weeks so it was so nice that I didn't have to wait for parts. I highly recommend this company and, as a realtor, I will sharing their contact information with all of my customers.

Exceptionally rude. I called and asked for a price quote/estimate. I was happy to provide my dryer model number for the quote, but they said they weren't going to take the time to look up parts and hung up.

Unprofessional Service, Poor Communication I had a terrible experience with Adept Appliance Service. The technician showed up unannounced to fix my washing machine, despite explicit instructions that we needed a 20-minute window to be at home for the assessment. When I contacted Dawn, she insisted that the technician had called before arriving, but I never received any such call or message. All I found was a magnet on my door indicating that they had been there, leaving me completely in the dark about their visit. The lack of communication and disregard for my schedule was highly unprofessional. I would not recommend their services to anyone based on this disappointing encounter.

Do not call them! Might as well throw away your money. We had a fridge with a broken ice maker, they came, charged $450 and the fridge still didn't make any ice. Then they send a second guy that said it wasn't fixable. They refunded only $200 out of the $450 they charged plus days lost from work waiting for them. We had to buy a new fridge in the end. I do not recommend this company.

Although the actual technician was nice enough, the company as a whole was horrible. I went through my warranty company, so I had no choice in choosing the contractor. They were very difficult to get ahold of. Their phone number did not work most times. It would ring and then go to a VM that said they were not taking any calls ( I tried at all all hours of the day for almost a week) they canceled last minute and same day appointments only minutes before said appt. They ordered the parts and then when that didn't fix the issue they had no reason as to why. They couldn't figure out the problem. (Honestly think they are undermanned and the technicians are over booked)now my warranty company (after 3 weeks of back and forth with contractor) has sent another contractor to figure out the issue. Not happy with my experience at all. Until they get more employees or maybe more knowledgable employees I would not recommend.

To anyone that gets placed with these jokers by their home warranty place. You can actually request a different contractor if they fail to provide an appointment withing 7 days of your service request and it would be in your best interest to do so. The 5-stars they are getting are probably fake rates or related to someone who works there (which is not much). I put in a claim back in June 9 and it is now almost a month and a half later and we are worse off than when we started our claim. They came out within 8 days of request and told me that the motherboard on washer had conked out. AHS ordered the part and I had read the reviews that their biggest complaint was the follow through. I called them after I got the part shipped and delivered and not a sole answered the phone. I finally did get a hold someone only to be told that their scheduler had to call me. NO ONE else could do it except clerical support, I guess. They told me I would get phone call later that day, which I did not. I then told AHS the next day and they called and were told I would get a call that same day…I did not. When they did finally reach out to me to schedule the repair, they come out on the day and time they stated and put on the part, but that did not fix the problem. The technician left my residence with a wash machine half filled with water, which it was empty prior to them getting there. We called to ask about course of action to get the water out since that was created by them, but they stated they would have to figure things out and get back to us. We asked for the owner of the company to give us a call because at this point, I believe this place is truly a scam. If you are wondering about service with Adept, or should I say, INEPT, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, you will thank those who gave an honest review of this place. It has been nothing but a headache with this crew. They replaced the motherboard twice and it did not work and the new appliance place Excel Appliance, who I HIGHLY recommend, came out and stated that it was the motherboard, but that Adept failed to look at drain pump and shifter for wash machine. This tells me that they are in it for a quick buck, but lack the actual skills to diagnose and repair. Again, you are better off with Excel Appliance. They actual call you, answer their phone and give you live updates via text. Stay away from Inept.
