Plumbers came. Were very polite and agreed to come back as they were early and we having company. Thank you. When they came they took 5 minutes to say they had to order a part. That's fine. They charged the 189, but said when they came back they would also charge another 189. Why double? I realize the charge for just coming, but it's the same job, one which would have been then and there had they had the part. I understand completely that they had to order the part, and that I would have to pay for the part, but why charge me double? Also, I never got a receipt for the job done today or for the visa payment. Usually I get that emailed to me. Please do that at your earliest convenience. Christian and his team was excellent. It was a 3 days installation. Everyday he was on time and made sure explain to us what exactly they are doing each day. At the end he worked through everything with us and asked us if we have any questions or anything he can help with. Great customer service

Not enough space to share what I experienced getting a heat pump installed by them. The install was not without major oversights, including a thermostat not working to come even close to the set temperature. This project was started around November of 2025 and definately was supposed to be completed before the end of the year so I could get a rebate from eversource. It took anoth few months to finally get it working the way it should, I had to call at least 3-5 times a week every week to get the right people to fix any problems I encountered. It turned out during the coldest month of the year (Jan 25) )that they did not connect the furnace correctly ( or at all) to the heat pump so that in one month the heat pump ran constantly and my electric bill was $500 when the system was installed to reduce the energy costs and reduce dependence on oil exclusively. The owner eventually came out, had little reaction to my concerns and he looked at my electric bill and gave me $100 back. I told him I had to be the installation manager and quality control person for them because they would have left the system not working if I wasn’t as intelligent and persistent to get them to put a working heat pump in my house. I told them as a nurse I installed computer systems in hospitals and I created an installation guide to prevent errors like this company acted were not that serious. The owner is not anyone that should be running a company that I was told he inherited from his father. He had no customer service experience and never offered to give me a discount on a $16K system that 2 competitors priced at $12 and $14. Eversource made some errors in their calculations for the 3 companies I asked them to review and make recommendations on who to use. Their error cost me alot of time, energy and money. Tri aCity should not be a recommended heat pump installer based on what I experienced and had to fight to get corrected. What if I was an elderly person and my electric bills went up to $500/ month. Could they have resolved it or even known the heat pump was installed improperly. Don’t go by the reviews on their website. They are all made up.

I’ve been reading all the feedback from other people ands it got me wondering how true this feedback are. My experience with tricity has been less than stellar, for starters the person who first answer the phone was…. Well I wouldn’t say rude but darn close, I explain to her that my fridge was doing the same thing after it was repaired 3 days ago was doing the same thing after waiting for month, and she told me they don’t stand behind their repairs than I will have to make another appointment ands wait 10 more days for them to come out. Thank you very much tricity

Chris did great job updating our heating/cooling system and tankless hot water system to bring them up to code. The work was done efficiently and all excess materials were cleaned and remove. Chris gave us a quick rundown of how everything worked and what TriCity would be doing to maintain the systems in the future. Overall very pleased with the work and professionalism done by Chris.

Absolutely recommend Tri-City! I had an issue with another company when experiencing issues with my mini-split system, which prompted me to shop around and I’m so glad I found Tri-City. Their team is highly communicative and provides appropriate updates throughout the process. From scheduling to getting the issue taken care of was a remarkably fast process, which was appreciated as other companies were giving time frames of nearly a month. We also had Chris J. as our technician, and he was professional and friendly, and he did an amazing job explaining my options and the process for looking into issues with my mini-split system. Very happy with our service, and would hands down go to them again in the future!
