Appliance Recovery of Nashville LLC.

Unfortunately we had a poor experience with Appliance Recovery of Nashville, from a late appointment arrival to an $1800 quote to fix our dishwasher. Here are more details: Our arrival window was 1-4pm. I called at 3pm to make sure that the technician would arrive before 4pm and they told me that his GPS said that he would arrive in 40 minutes. At 4pm I had to call again, and was told that he was 20 minutes away. At 4:45pm I called again as he had not yet arrived, and was told that he was just pulling into my driveway. I had two issues with my dishwasher that I wanted to have investigated - pooling of water at the bottom of the unit, and a soap dispenser door that wasn't opening during cycles. The tech spend about 20 minutes starting the dishwasher, letting it run and listening to it. After 20 minutes he said that the hot water button hadn't been pressed, and to just make sure that it was pressed and the soap dispenser door would open. He did not diagnose the other (and larger) problem of the pooling water. Sure enough, the hot water trick did NOT work. The soap dispenser door still didn't open. I called back the next day to see if he would come back out to figure out why the dispenser wasn't opening - but instead he sent me a quote for $1800 saying that the control board needed to be replaced. After voicing my concern that he hadn't opened up the machine to even test the control board I was told that I needed to get a different company to come out and look at it. After doing some research on my own I figured out how to fix BOTH issues, spent $210 on parts, and ultimately fixed the dishwasher on my own. I was very disappointed in how late the tech was, how little time he spent trying to problem solve, an unrealistic repair quote and the dismissiveness to suggest I just go to a different company. Regarding the $1800 quote - whether it was reasonable or not, I explicitly asked him during the appointment to quote me on just installing a new unit if he thought the repairs would cost too much. This was completely ignored as well.

Chris, the service man, was extremely friendly and, most importantly, knowledgeable about ice machines, their service issues and the care needed to keep them clean — reinforcing the procedures I’ve been taking to keep the machine clean and sanitary. Hopefully, my ice machine and all my other appliances run well forevermore. But, if they don’t, Appliance Recovery of Nashville will be first in line to resolve my issue.

Chris was great. He is very personable and obviously very knowledgeable of his profession. He was able to trace the problem with my oven down to a crimped wire. I highly recommend Chris and Appliance Recovery.

Chris was awesome! Came withing the quoted time, and called to give me and ETA 30.min before. He was friendly and professional, fixed my dryer quickly. My dog liked him, and she is a great judge of character. So glad I don't have to go the the laundromat anymore. Would def use this service in the future for any other appliances

We’ve found our favorite repair man! Chris is kind, knowledgeable and quick. Our dryer started making a terrible noise a couple days ago and Chris was out here to fix it within one day! He was right on time for his scheduled window and was in communication with me 30 mins before his arrival. He took our dryer apart, cleaned it and fixed it up and now she is running better than ever! We are excited to have someone reliable to call on the next time something breaks! 10/10 recommendation!

Chris was great! VERY knowledgeable, quick and communicative. He was sure to call and keep me posted about his arrival and took the time to explain to me what the problem was. Fixed the heating element in my dryer super quickly and was even kind enough to look at my ice maker when I’d mentioned it was on the fritz. Whole service was reasonably priced and efficient and I will definitely be working with appliance Nashville again.

Chris was superb! He not only fixed my issue right away but also gave me a full explanation and tips on how to do good maintenance to my dishwasher and to all the pipe system in my house! Absolutely incredible service!!!
