Small local shop with quality work. Prices are decent, and the gentleman in charge is very nice. Please make sure to bring a mask when you go (requirement for service). Spread the word, he does it all, from sneakers to boots. Highly recommend.

Mr Norvelle is a true craftsman. Drop off a pair of old boots that have been repaired before. But nothing like this gentleman preformed after dropping off he gave me a time to pickup and to the minute. His results On my boots were perfect I will never take any of my shoes to anyone else’s shop. Thanks again for a great job

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I had a pair of limited edition full suede Kith Clark’s that my movers accidentally spilled a bottle of shampoo on. I was devastated since the shoes were brand new. I took them to another shop who told me the shoes were a lost cause and couldn’t be repaired. Mr. Norvelle told me he would do the best he could and when I came to pick up my shoes, they looked practically brand new and beautiful. I am so happy!! He did such an amazing job and he is also such a sweet person. Thank you again Mr. Norvelle!

I dropped off my boots for a resole, cleaning and polish. We agreed on the work and price before walking out the door.. I was told they’d be done in a week. When I called a week later to ask if they were done, he said he’d call me when they were ready for pick up. A few days later he called and I picked them up that week. Upon arrival, he placed them on the counter and they looked worse off than when I had originally dropped them off. On both heels of the boots were globs of glue which look horrendous. I honestly didn’t even know what to say. After turning one of the boots around to inspect it, there was a huge black smudge that wasn’t there upon drop off. Not to mention that the boots were not even cleaned or polished.. I was at a loss for words and just stared at my boots for a few seconds. He could see the frustration in my face and reassured me that they won’t fall apart. I asked nicely if he could grind off the glue from the leather. He took one of the boots back and attempted to fix it. After a few minutes he came back with the boot and said he couldn’t scrape anymore off because the glue was still wet. At this point I was so frustrated that I just wanted to leave. I paid $130 up front for a job I probably could have don’t in my garage with some shoe glue..

Nice guy but he should retire or get HELP.I gave him 2 pair of shoes just for taps for slippery floors.i came back a week later the day before my daughter wedding in charlotte.He could not find my shoes,looked for 30 minutes..finally i saw my shoes where i left them on his counter undone and wide open to be stolen. So i had to sit a hour and wait because i already paid for them which he should had refunded. Another customer been waiting a month and still waiting! Unacceptable.

I brought in a pair of tan suede shoes that were close to 15 years old with a significant amount of stains and wear. For $30 Norvelle cleaned and repaired them to near new condition. I was at the point where I was going to give the shoes away, now I may get another 15 years out them. Norvelle is an excellent craftsman and works for an incredibly reasonable price. I highly recommend him.

Love this shoe store it's a family business the son took over for the father and it's one of the historical places that still exist in North Richmond.I have 2 pair my dog chewed he already fix 2 other pairs for me. Different dog different shoes....lol Went back and he said he will pass on fixing my shoes and my pocketbook!! He is not his father for sure and I won't be going back.
