Very sketchy company here operating in Tampa. Doing a disservice to the local people here in the area. I had the freezer go out on my fridge so I found this used appliance store here. I went into the store and was shown a couple fridges and was promised they worked without issue. I purchased a used fridge here for $420. I was given a hand written receipt and it came with a 30 day warranty. A employee of the company Anthony came to remove my old fridge which they took along with them and install the new replacement fridge. Anthony told me he has been in the appliance business for over a decade, and he was a professional who knew what he was doing. Immediately we started having issues. We noticed the fridge was not making any ice. Then found Anthony did not have the water turned on for the ice maker. Then we noticed (seen in photo) the condensation in the freezer indicating there was a problem with heat somehow getting into the freezer. It looked like an issue with the seal of the freezer to me. I contacted the store and spoke with Anthony (the professional right?). He quickly placed the blame on me and my mother, saying there was nothing wrong with the fridge at all and that we were not closing the freezer door. I think we all know how to close a freezer door and we never had this issue with our old fridge that we had for years, but he insisted the freezer was having issues because of our fault. Even though that was absurd, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued to monitor the issue, I would check on the fridge every few hours and get out of bed at night to make sure no door was left open. We continued to have problems with it. The professional Anthony continued to give us problems about the fridge instead of just properly handling the situation. He told us he didn't have another available fridge in the size we needed to replace it with. He also told us he already had our old fridge destroyed so we could not get it back with a refund. He told us that we would have to bring the fridge back to the store and if the fridge was not in its original condition then they may only offer us a partial refund, if anything at all. Mind you this is all very much still within the 30 day warranty for a fridge they told us was supposed to be working just fine. I was very upset with how we were being treated. The whole thing became such a mess and headache to deal with. I just had my old broken fridge replaced with a new (used) broken fridge that the professional is telling me we're keeping the door open and the problem is our fault. At this point I didn't want to deal with Anthony and his poor professionalism any longer. I texted the store saying if they don't do something to take care of this situation properly I would be filing in court about this. I talked to a couple lawyers and was ready to file. This was all still within the 30 day warranty. Soon after Anthony came to replace the fridge. We haven't had any major issues with the new replacement fridge. It does make a loud noise sometimes, but it quickly stops and for the most part we are satisfied with the new replacement fridge. Anthony and the service provided made this whole ordeal very troublesome to deal with. Next time I am just going to pay a bit extra and buy my appliance at Lowes. Throughout the whole experience it was not worth saving a buck and dealing with the type of quality and service we got here at this business.

The staff here is just amazing! We have lots of rental properties and use them for high quality affordable appliances. We just had a washer break down during the warranty period and they had a replacement delivered the very next day without giving an issue of filing claims and waiting periods and the hassle that can go with replacements which for a landlord with limited time to sit on the phone is so appreciated. Delivery and haul away is so affordable and convenient and has always been the very next day! We will continue to purchase with them for all our new homes.

I purchased a water heater. Warranty covers parts and labor. However, the water heater completely leaks and floods the bathroom. From the first day we installed it, it leaks from the very bottom and it can't be fixed, so warranty won't cover a replacement. When shopping for one I was told to come back the next day and it will be ready. The water heater needed to be drained to sell. If that was the case, why wasn't it flooding their floor? My point is, it feels completely dishonest. Just to make a sale.

If I can give this place negative stars, I would. Purchased a stove on Saturday for 265 and was told and showed very briefly that the stove works and that it has 30 day warranty. Upon arriving home, we did not cook anything Saturday and ordered out. When I woke up Sunday, I made my daughter eggs and pancakes for breakfast. When I finished making breakfast, I turned off the burner and a few seconds later, you hear glass cracking. Called store to warranty the stove and was told they don't warranty items customers break. I NEVER DROPPED OR MISHANDLED THE STOVE AT ALL. instead of being responsible business and ordering the glass to replace, they were quick to say they don't warranty items that customers break and that they would look out on price for a new stove. Hands down WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. beware ladies and gentlemen, this place is run by liars and thieves. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM !! Bunch of coward thieves dressed as sheep !!

Save your time, money and headache. Chester’s down the road sells cheaper used appliances and they actually have customer service to help busy people get their appliance needs taken care of in a swift hassle free manner. Chester’s may be closed on Sundays but don’t ever make the mistake of bringing your appliance here to ABC in order to be repaired due to that fact. Alongside the absorbent prepaid repair cost, you’ll be doing you laundry at your in-laws for weeks on end while dealing with the never ending headache. Plus they lock the doors up often leaving their customers in the dark not knowing when is a good time to actually get your appliance picked up. Just go down the street and avoid this place.

They always have what I need if they dnt they always do their best to help me find what I need. Great place, kind people, and great customer service. ABC Appliance does wonders ❤️
