Dr Johnny's Appliances

We have purchased many appliances from Dr Johnny over the years, as well as recommended him to family and friends. We ordered three appliances the week of August. We were told 4 weeks for delivery, installation and haul off of old items (no charge for disposal of old appliances). After the 4 week promise, we were told, "sorry it will be another 2 weeks for oneof the appliances". So, as not to pay for a separate delivery fee, we told them to deliver all 3 at the same time. Now, on the promised delivery day, (WE had to call them by the way) to get a window for delivery time. Then we are told, "sorry it will be next week, not today as scheduled". It's disappointing to say the least. Customer service is gone in this world. The 3 star rating is because I know he will make it right, but again, a little better customer service would be appreciated.

Do not use Dr. Johnny's! I called in a service call because my dryer didn't have any heat. A technician came out, looked at the dryer for a second then said it was the heating element. He changed it out and was gone in a matter of minutes. Not only did he leave a huge mess of lint all over my floor and behind the dryer, but he also removed part of my vent and left it along with the old heating element on the floor. He never tested the dryer before leaving. When I used the dryer a few hours later there was still no heat. I called and reported the issue and was advised I would get a call back. I called again in the morning and requested a refund; I was denied so I had to put a stop payment on my check. I do not recommend anyone use Dr. Johnny's!!!

I had purchase my fridge with them. Not a even a year ice make was broken. I had called them came to look it. The technician that was sent said that the parts needs to be replace, a months after came to installed it, while installing it he said it not the right part. So that have to wait again...Mind you this happened since December of last year. In March the technician came and put different bucket and again it's not working the whole door needs to be replace...We are now in June still not able to replace the door. I had been calling at their store trying to find out where is my fridge door. They had kept telling me that it has not coming yet that it will take few weeks or months...It's been 3 months we are still not able to use our ice machine. I had been trying to speak to the owner and still no luck. I am about to report this place.

If you're the tl;dr type, do not spend your money here. Dr Johnny will leave you high and dry given the chance. I recently purchased a range hood suggested by the store employee based on my requirements. Dr Johnny's installers came to my home twice to measure and ensure they would have everything they needed for install. On the day of, they were incapable/unwilling to install the hood in its present configuration and instead had me purchase and install a second one that they were more comfortable with. When I contacted the store to arrange for a return of the original, Dr Johnny refused to refund the original hood that his installers refused to install, forcing me to eat ~$1500.00. There are lots of options in the area for appliances, I'd recommend you use any other one than this one to avoid unnecessarily risking your money.

I highly recommend Dr.Johnnys Appliance in VA Bch.I have purchased 2 KitchenAid products An Oven/Convection microwave oven combo and most recently a Gas downdraft Cooktop, and a washer from him. All at the best price in town. The oven was purchased and installed the day-before Thanksgiving! He has the most AWESOME and professional installers Mike Harrison and Vickie! The quality of the work and knowledge of the craft are excellent. I felt at ease knowing the job was being done right and up to code. He also fixed my exhaust vent that was in need of repair! They provide 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ customer service installation! As soon as my dish washer goes out I will be calling Dr.Johnny to buy and to have Mike and Vickie come and install the new one! Thank you to a great team!

I purchased an entire set of kitchen appliances in March and less than a month of having the refrigerator delivered and installed, it stopped working. Dr. Johnny’s repair person came out and it’s getting new parts and when I asked for a refund/return altogether - because it’s already broken within weeks- he said "I’m just a dealer you have to go to Whirlpool for refunds". Well, Whirlpool does not handle refunds unless you buy directly from them.

Bought dishwasher stove and fridge and couldn't been treated better. Loved the delivery and install.
