ATS Restoration & Construction

My elderly mother had water damage to the walls and carpet that had just been installed in several rooms in her house in Plano. ATS was the restoration company that performed the restoration. Tom Burns was the project manager. ATS did an excellent job restoring the carpet and carpet pad to look like new again. They also did a great job on the walls, ceiling, baseboard, and trim repairs throughout the affected area, including texturing and painting. Everything, including the cleanup, was also very professional. I'd like to make a special call out to Tom and the team who went out of their way to go above and beyond the call of duty to make my mother (and us) happy. They cheerfully addressed other things that my mother requested. They even helped bring deliveries inside the house and took out the trash for her. Thank you all again for your compassion and dedication.

After we experienced a dishwasher leak back in March, we were paired up with ATS through our insurance company to manage the demolition, pack out, and reconstruction of our kitchen & hardwood flooring. This project was a daunting one - I was five months pregnant at the start and the water damage required the removal of flooring, the majority of our kitchen cabinetry, and the deconstruction of our giant kitchen island. My only wish was to be back in our home by the arrival of our baby on August 1st. It was hard being displaced during those final months of pregnancy, but the entire ATS team rose to the occasion and kept us on time with a rigorous schedule. Travis and the demo team were amazing at kicking off the project in a speedy way so that we could get estimates approved by insurance. He also miraculously saved our kitchen island countertop, which we believed to be a one in a million feat. Josh was fantastic and easy to reach when we needed more pack out support than initially expected. From there, David took over as our superintendent on the rebuild and did the impossible - in his words, he created a "zipper" schedule where multiple pieces of the project could be managed simultaneously and in sync, so as not to lose a single day. I truly did not believe we would be in our home by the end of July, but his management of the project and all of the moving pieces was essential to getting us back in on time!! I also want to give a shout out to our team of movers under Romero, as well as Veronica, Veronica and Maria who managed to unpack our home so meticulously that it felt like we had never left. The care and attention to detail was so appreciated with our things, especially while I was 3 days from giving birth and unable to provide much assistance. Thank you again to the whole team - we couldn’t be happier with the service and quality that was provided.

We had water/sewage damage in our master bedroom/bathroom. ATS did an outstanding job putting everything back together. The tile guy, LINO did an awesome job restoring the bathroom. He worked long hours to complete the job. We are so very thankful for all the hard work all the employees did. A big thanks to Chris for organizing everything and going above helping us put things back in order. GREAT JOB!!

We highly recommend ATS Restoration!! We are so happy with the final results after experiencing a house fire the week before Christmas. We’d like to thank Tom Burns our project manager and his team, especially Leah and Veronica for their kindness and professionalism. Tom is extremely knowledgeable and was able to walk us through every step of the restoration process. Our home is beautiful!!!

In the midst of a difficult situation, ATS helped tremendously and took care of everything. Tom Burns headed up the project and was both kind and professional every step of the way. He kept everyone informed throughout the entire process and there were no surprises or hiccups. After the final walkthrough, he took care of everything that needed to be done and made sure the job was completed well. We have had former contractors in the past and our experience was horrible. Tom is a redeeming asset to his profession! Hopefully, we won’t need his services again in the future, but if we did, I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else but him. The job was done well in a timely manner and the people were professional and kind. That says it all!

We had a great experience with ATS. Tom Burns managed our restoration after a major leak, and I only have great things to say about his excellent customer service and the quality of work. Tom was exceptionally accommodating, always cheerful and helpful, and very organized. The work crews seemed competent and I felt like our job was in good hands the whole way through the process.

Our experience has been nothing short of a train wreck. ATS was scheduled to begin work on our wrecked house Monday April 1st. They didn’t come until Thursday 4/4 citing other projects as the cause of the delay. They waited until Saturday 4/6 and demoed the wall (windy day) Leaving all the debris on my driveway spilling out into my neighbors lawn. All the insulation went flying across the lawn and into the street. They damaged the entry way bringing material into the house. It’s highly upsetting because they gave us a 4 week timetable yet they keep pushing stuff back citing people quitting etc essentially giving us the run around while working on other projects. as a customer that is not my issue to be informed on about labor issues. As the company under contract you have to fulfill your end of the deal and hire reliable subs. Overall I feel like ATS took in the job but was not ready to give us the experience they give everyone else. Update: Management doesn’t care because I’m renting the house, im the tenant being directly affected by their unprofessionalism. Notice how they didn’t touch on any of the concerns I brought up. Big companies like this should take more accountability instead of saying "talk to your landlord" I have and other customers need to hear about this experience.
