An attempt to loosen a shower handle upstairs led to a leak to a room downstairs. UWRG McKinney was among a number of companies I contacted. My greatest compliment aside from the resolution of my problem is Craig’s communication. Calls/texts/emails were promptly answered/replied to. He brought equipment to test the walls, ceilings, and floorings while another company simply did a cursory visual inspection. Craig was detailed in his breakdown of the extent of my leak problem, the steps to address it, and the timeline to complete each step. The work scope and cost was emailed for me to review and sign before he started. The work spanned over several days, and he communicated his estimated arrival time ahead for each day. Craig and team took care to wear shoe protectors inside the house. He set up and sealed off the work area before cutting to contain debris. Waste was hauled, tools were collected, and the area was left clean after each day’s work. As can be typical of water leaks, there can be damage beyond what initial inspection/test found. In my case, Craig found mold after removing tiles near the affected shower wall. He communicated that immediately along with the options/additional steps and timeline extension. This new work scope and cost was emailed to me for review and sign before he worked beyond the first agreement. I appreciate this level of transparency. At the completion of his work scope, I still needed to repair the sheetrock, paint, crown molding, and tiles. He offered his contact who could help after I asked. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with UWRG McKinney. Craig’s business card is kept and added to my "good experience contractors who can be called upon again" list.

I had a pipe break in my home that flooded my closet, and Greg and his crew came out to help. I was very impressed with their professionalism from start to finish. They were honest, helpful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They worked efficiently, treated my home with care, and made a very stressful situation much easier to handle. I truly appreciate their hard work and highly recommend their services!

I was so impressed with Craig and his coworker Carlos. He was the first water mitigation company I called after a flood in my house. They showed up at 8:30 PM on a Saturday and stayed until almost midnight. Making sure that fans were set up and baseboards were removed so that the drying process could begin. They continued to come daily for the next four days. He had a lock box for our house key and made sure to notify us when he was coming into the house. I appreciated the courtesy texts. They were very skillful in working around our furniture and belongings to take out all carpet from the bedrooms and every single baseboard in the house. Carlos even brought my packages inside from the door while I wasn’t home. I am still in contact with Craig after the mitigation process was over for other companies and contractors who work closely with him. I highly recommend this company. You won’t be disappointed!

I called UWRG for a quote after a broken pipe leaked water into our bathroom wall for a few days. Craig came out and was very thorough in his visual inspection! He was very professional and informative. Craig was fantastic throughout the remediation and rebuild process. He gave a very thorough quote and took the time to break it down for us. He also looked over a couple other quotes we got from other guys that missed several things he knew would need to be taken in to account for the insurance claim. He contacted the insurance and was very persistent in ensuring they responded to emails in a timely manner. Craig kept us CC’d in his communications with the insurance so we would all have the same information. He followed up on his guys and checked in with us every step of the way! He passed us off to a great contractor/crew who did a fantastic job on the rebuild. Craig was exactly who we needed, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Craig and UWRG will be our first call if we run into any more water issues in the future.

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the exceptional service we received from Craig at UWRG. Craig and Carlos spent many long days in our home as the amount of problems ended up being more than expected. They handled each tedious issue with patience, care, and professionalism. We had mold forming on our drywall around a couple of AC vents and the majority of our windows had leaking issues, which also caused mold in several of these areas including some rotting wood. We also learned that we had leaking from our roof going down into our living room walls due to a chimney repair last year and Craig had a roof contact come out immediately to assess and resolve the issue. Craig provided us with his contractor contact to help us put everything back together as well as many other helpful contacts/recommendations. He remained in communication throughout the entire process, giving us daily updates with photos as well as providing documentation. I also want to note that regardless of the many complications found, Craig maintained a positive and friendly demeanor, which was much appreciated during an overwhelming time. His heart to help others did not go unnoticed and we were so grateful to have our home in such good hands. We cannot recommend Craig UWRG enough, he truly goes above and beyond. I recently worked with United Water Restoration Group, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. My kitchen and part of my living room got flooded from a faulty dishwasher. Craig was amazing—he kept me informed about every issue he found and explained each step of the process so I always knew what was happening. Craig and Carlos worked hard to remove all of the wet items including my floors, kitchen cabinets and walls that were affected quickly, and the dry-out process went smoothly from start to finish.
