If I could give negative stars I would. Legally I'm not sure what I'm even allowed to say other than buyer beware. I'm sure they have treated some customers with ethical, professional and helpful. That was not my experience. Again legally I'm not sure what I'm allowed to say without being sued by this company. They destroyed my life. Do your research before you sign anything. It might be the best decision you ever make, or it could be the worst.

Well first off my wife noticed that the crew was not removing the rotted wood just screwing the metal roofing right on to it. She had to call them out on it before they did anything. Then i noticed they damaged some soffet and never fixed that. After completion of the work i noticed daylight coming in random locations were they missed the board. I climbed on the roof and saw silicon was covering the missed holes. I didnt make a fuss as long as my house stayed dry i was ok. Then roof started leaking after 2 years, probably earlier then that. Called back in December 2021 to get it covered under the warranty. 3 weeks later someone finally comes out and inspects the roof. By the time the inspector showed up it we had our first snow of the year. When the inspector was in the attic he noticed icicles where it was leaking. Now its Feburary 2022 and Corey has not returned any of my calls, text or emails. Got my insurance to come check it out. Well they wont cover it due to improper installation. Burell didnt even offer to tarp it. I sent the pictures my insurance company took to show him the bad workman ship. No response. I have water getting in between my walls and its just getting worse. Definitely find a different roofing company.

Just wanted to post this review to this Google listing for Burell Roofing. UPDATE 2020: He offered to give me $2000 back for the terrible a job he did but never followed through. Again consumers beware of this dishonest company! Consumers, please beware of Burell Built Exteriors & Roofing Company, LLC! At the beginning of July 2018, I purchased a new roof for a home that’s being completely remodeled, knowing already that 10-12 boards needed to be replaced, as you can see the roof from the inside of the house. I informed a Burell Built Exteriors employee named Jesse of this, and he agreed to replace these boards as part of our arrangement. On the day that work was set to begin, I was available to drop-by the house and meet with Jesse to see the progress. When I arrived, they were about to shingle the house after replacing only three boards. I questioned Jesse about all of the other boards that still needed to be replaced, as they were badly split, and his response was, "Oh, those are fine." I’m not a construction expert, but when a board is split, it doesn’t seem fine to me—there’s obvious damage to the board that will only continue to get worse. I stayed at the home for the remainder of the day to complete yard work. Again, I asked Jesse about these other boards, and he grew more annoyed and dismissive of my concerns because he needed to catch a flight, trying to leave the job as soon as possible. By the end of the day, none of the remaining boards had been replaced, nor had any of the boots. Upon further inspection, the old boots had been spray-painted to only appear as though they’d been replaced. Along with this, instead of replacing the electrical boot with a proper one, Jesse simply cut one in-half and glued it together, leaving the ridge vent crooked. After getting several second opinions and inspections from experts in the field, they all agreed that the back-half of the roof’s wood should have been replaced—the same area that I repeatedly pointed out to Jesse. I expressed these concerns to Corey Burell, the owner of Burell Built Exteriors, and he admitted that they didn’t do a drip-edge. At first, he insisted the boots were replaced and denied that his employee ever spray-painted anything. Corey later retracted his statement after I sent him photos for evidence. Upon his retraction, he then offered up an excuse as to why Jesse had to spray paint the boots, proving complete dishonesty within his company on every level. The owner also told me I was being tedious about wanting the ridge vent straight. There are now three different areas of the job that Corey has admitted weren’t done properly or weren’t done at all. As for the wood being replaced for the split boards, he told me that was a judgement call. I told him that I wanted the remaining boards replaced and the other issues fixed but have yet to hear back after weeks of waiting and calling. This company lacks integrity and has no respect for their customers’ time and money. They’ve completely disregarded the safety of my family, as they were willing to walk away and cover up an obvious threat to the structural integrity of my home. Purchasing this house was supposed to begin a new, exciting chapter of my life, and Burell Built Exteriors & Roofing Company, LLC has turned it into nothing but a financial headache and an even bigger mess to clean up. Please, do not use this company. Find someone who actually takes pride in their work and lives out what they advertise to the public. Unfortunately, Corey Burell is not that kind of business owner.

Byron is the best! He did my roofing job a few years ago. He recently did an inspection. I highly recommend this company and especially Byron.

First and foremost Byron and Alex you guys are rock stars. Two of the most caring men I have ever met. When your community is hit with a tornado a lot can go wrong with contractors. Nothing went wrong with Burell. Yes we had to wait but that was expected. Yes we had leaks until repairs but that was expected. Yes it cost a lot of money but that was expected and you get what you pay for. I don’t think I will need another roof if Mother Nature cooperates and I absolutely love the work done this time around. True professionals from the start, the installation, follow up and completion. I am no expert but our roof looks solid, clean and sturdy. I asked them to contract the gutters as well and again they came through perfectly. Had a minor issue, guess what, fixed. This is where I publicly thank you and recommend your work to anyone. The tornado happened Easter Sunday. I would not wish this upon anyone. You all made dealing with horrific damage much more tolerable. For those interested we have a metal roof. Supplies were delayed at best, we are talking hundreds of homes. Byron was in constant contact with us and Alex’s crew did a professional installation once supplies became available. Thank you!

I call on Burell Built frequently as an insurance agent when my clients need a second opinion on a quote that they've received. Often a full replacement is not necessary, and Jesse Mathews is very quick to say that - if that's the case. It's nice to have someone that I can trust for an honest opinion, despite it not being the most lucrative for them. Recently had a roof issue that needed looking at and Jesse was prompt to respond, come over and look at the problem. He fixed the problem very quickly and I no longer have water leaking into my house. Call Burell Built if you need someone you can trust on top of your house!

Great experience. They came on time, they removed the old roof, and replaced the new roof in two days. Very professional and competent. Byron Winters did an outstanding job. We were sold on his attention to detail and follow up. He showed us the problems with our existing roof, explained how these were causing our problems. and then went about correcting them. We highly recommend Burell Built Roofing and Byron Winters.
