Amazing Service! Vincent was very professional and friendly. He got the fan part in quicker than estimated and got our freezer back up and running in an excellent time frame. I would use them again and highly recommend.

We had an issue with a new GE refrigerator in the freezer compartment from Lowe’s caused by the delivery and installation team the ice maker wouldn’t shut off. Callahan’s was recommended by GE and they were very responsive when I called for an appointment which was a few days away. Kept us updated the day before and Kyle arrived in our 4 hour window slot. He noticed the missing piece over the water delivery tube and ordered that and a new automatic ice maker. Really knowledgeable and pleasant young man. He said it would be a week or 10 days. It was when they called to set a time to return and that was as pleasant as the first time. I still have the other frig it cools fine but the freezer didn’t freeze any more. If I would’ve known about Callahan’s appliance repair I would’ve called them. I’m going to wait till spring and have them fix it they are definitely trustworthy.

Callahan’s sent a service tech out to our house for a Lowe’s warranty call. The tech was professional and quick. He ordered the part, it was shipped to our house, then I called to let them know it was here, and the same tech came to our house and replaced the part and tested it several times. It has worked great since he replaced it 2 weeks ago. Again, he was professional and quick. We appreciate it very much.

I only gave three stars because there's always room for improvement. Basically long story short, I purchased a new refrigerator from home Depot that came to the house defected( unbeknownst to us) it was a GE product and under warranty. GE referred me to Callahan's appliance to have them come out and troubleshoot and or fix the refrigerator. The first guy that came out and saw there was something wrong with the refrigerator not pushing out cubed ice, and said "yep that's your problem I'm going to order you a new part and then someone will return and replace the part once the part comes in". There was no further testing upon the initial first visit. They were in and out in about 5 minutes. The second guy shows up and brings the part does not unplug the refrigerator and starts to work right away to fix the problem, however once the part was replaced it still did not work so then they said that another part needed to be ordered and they would have to come back. The next time another different person came this time it was a person named Kyle who was very thorough and I give him 5+ Stars- because by now they've been out to my house several times and it still was not fixed nor was the previous two guys really doing any troubleshooting or getting on the phone with a GE. Kyle got on the phone with GE to do some troubleshooting and then more parts had to be ordered to be replaced by then I'm starting to get a little frustrated and starting to request from GE a new refrigerator. Poor Kyle comes back another time, and this time GE sent the wrong part and still was not able to fix the refrigerator. So the last guy who shows up his name is Keith and he actually does a lot more troubleshooting and gets on the phone with a GE and then returns again a couple of days later to get on the phone with a GE and they did more troubleshooting only to realize that the wire in the casing in the refrigerator was broke or something as the reason why all the parts did not fix the problem. Had Callahan's service tech on the very FIRST visit completed all of the required testing and got on the phone with GE a lot of these trips and me missing work could have been avoided. When it came to scheduling due to my job Callahan's was not accommodating and told me they could not set a specific time frame, when I asked for afternoons, due to my job. Luckily for me, I am allowed to have some flexibility with my job however not everyone has that flexibility and can just ( the day before at the end of a business day )get a text from Callahan's with a specific time frame when they're going to show up at your house. Most people can't just drop their employer for a service call. Most people work Monday through Friday. I found this to be a huge dissatisfier when it comes to dealing with customers , Callahans should try to accommodate better. I do have to say after nearly two months six trips from Callahan's, I finally have a replacement refrigerator from GE. If in the future that I need an appliance worked on I would recommend Callahan's, and would want Keith or Kyle, and that's providing the schedule is accommodating. Everyone was very nice and professional.

This company was used by my warranty and it was the worst experience ever. It took them about 5 times, at least, to fix my dishwasher. First technician came and said my dishwasher was leaking because it needed a new bottom gasket but didn’t have the part and had to order it. Another technician came a week later or so and installed the gasket. Dishwasher kept leaking. Another technician came and said the problem was the gasket inside the panel. Again, he didn’t have the part and had to order it but had some glue from another job he had just done and it would be a band aid solution while he got the part. Another week or so, another technician came and once here looked at the notes on his iPad and said they didn’t tell him he needed the gasket and he didn’t have the part so he needed to reschedule and come back. So another week or so, and the day he was supposed to be here, they texted me that technician was out sick and we would have to reschedule. So the next week or so, he came back and replaced the whole panel and finally my dishwasher is fixed. If this company had competent technicians, it wouldn’t have taken this long and so many visits to fix the problem.

It wasn't the worst experience that I have had. First guy barely said a word. His lack of engagement in the conversation didnt make me feel as if I could ask additional question. The second guy was great. Personal, quick, and at least spoke in full sentences. The most inconvenient part, and honestly the reason I didnt request an additional visit when my product still wasn't fixed after part replacement, was the scheduling. When scheduling I am asked to choose a time frame, 8-12 or 1-5. For both service dates, i chose one or the other and received the window for "11 am - 1 pm". Which is in neither window. Makes it really difficult to plan my day as a mom of three with a full time job & full time college student. As someone in a corporate business I get scheduling shifts, but just tell me to take the whole day instead of setting the expectation that it COULD only be half a day. Im last minute having to find people to pick up my three kids from three different locations. All for the brand new part to not fix the issue and now having to take another day off work for a different company to come out. AND I dont have a fridge. So im out the cost of food, again, and all of the other issues of not having a fridge or freezer for weeks at a time.
