Corbin Electric Company

This company is incompetent in its ability to both schedule services and keep customers informed. Plus their "premium service" plan can/will screw over customers due to the companies policies and incompetence. Sadly I didn’t read enough of the reviews, and called this company. I called on a Sunday midday to have an electrician come out same day, and shockingly they could have someone out that night in a three hour window. They never once updated us in the appointment window, and we had to call multiple times (the company never reached out to update us, and never knew anything on the phone when we called). It wasn’t until the last time we called they said "we found out moments ago they can’t make it tonight" (this was 10 mins before the expected window was set to expire). On this call the person was completely unhelpful, refused to take any responsibility other than "another call ran late, oh well". There was no escalation process available at that time, other than "let’s reschedule you" but still not addressing that we were upset about time, flat out refusing to even entertain the idea they were in the wrong. When calling to cancel our planned service, and receive a refund on their "premium service" which includes a supposed "skip the line" policy, they still refused to acknowledge ANY fault on their part. They kept trying to get me to wait for the rescheduled time (which they originally claimed was the first appointment scheduled, not a reschedule due to their incompetence). Lastly, check their fine print on their premium service. They state if you sign up for their "premium service" and the technician calls you at all, you can no longer receive any form of refund on the "premium service", despite not receiving any form of actual service.

One of our breakers was incorrectly sized for the A/C system it supported. We needed and electrician, and time was of the essence to keep the deal moving forward. We called Corbin Electric Company and the technician was able to come out the very next day. He discovered the breaker was incorrectly labeled by the previous electrician and was actually the correct size after all. My point is, he's not only a very good electrician, but honest and dependable as well. We would recommend his services to anyone!!!!

Derrick went above and beyond to help me out, doing it while I was out of town, and updating me along the way with pictures and personal phone calls. He also worked with my neighbor while I was out of town to make sure everything went smoothly. I certainly recommend Corbin Electric Company!

Very happy with their work. They hung four very heavy chandeliers for me and did an excellent job. They are knowledgeable and worked efficiently to get the job done. I would highly recommend and will be using Corbin Electric Company again!

Scheduled. Never showed up. Charged 150.never called. We called them and they said call back saturday to reschedule for saturday. We called saturday and they said they dont send out technicians on saturday. We both took off work early for nothing.

Kenny did some electrical work at my mother's home some years ago and she highly recommended him to me. Kenny came to my home and thoroughly inspected my electrical wires throughout my basement and around my home. I am content with his quote and will reach out for having the repairs done.

Called for service. They sold me Premium Home Service. Was not. Scheduled appointment. Waited the 3 hour window, no call, no show. Called them, no explanation. They said manager would call me, did not. Next day another call. They said they would call me back to resolve within 30 minutes, a day later still no call. Pretty poor service, or just lack there of.
