We used this company for 20 years. Then, one key person became sick and the service, professionalism and response became wretched. We had to hire a reputable electrician to fix the multiple problems Wilfert created. A trainee walked on our new glass cooktop. We found dangerous wiring they had done, some of it basic issues anyone would know is unsafe (leaving wiring outside of a box in the attic, not capping wires, leaving exposed live wires, etc.), along with problems a licensed electrician should never do—too numerous to list. Have their work checked if you needed anything beyond simple to be done. They also blabbed other clients’ private details to us.

I have had Wilfert Electric over to my home many times over the past few years and have always experienced great service! They put a new circuit and wiring for my daughters kiln. Installed new receptacles in our basement and so on. I called other electricians to do the work and I couldn't get them to answer the phone or they were to vague on their pricing. I highly recommend Wilfert Electric!

Rick (the owner and master electrician) installed a 240V circuit for my new spa and also wired the tub for a fully functional setup. Rick works very neatly and pays attention to detail. He will also accommodate special requests like where to run lines inconspicuously etc. Rick and his staff are very nice people to work with and his pricing was on par with other quotes I got. Lastly, every time I called the main number a nice lady took my call every time and never voice mails! I will be using Wilfert electric again!

Gary came in less than an hour after calling him, even though he was fully booked that day. He repaired the light fixture in less than 15 min and said he'd come back, next week, when he had time, to install an outlet I wanted added on. He just wanted to make sure I had light before then...nice! Knew immediately what was wrong. Even said I can pay him next week when he comes back!

I found Wilfert through an internet search, called on a Thursday and had guys at my house the following Tuesday. I needed a new outlet run, a switch replaced and a dimmer installed (not a huge job) but they were efficient, tidy, and friendly. In and out within an hour. Highly recommend.

I've had very good experiences with Wilfert on 5-6 priors, but in the past week Sep 27-Oct 2, 2018, the company service in terms of returning calls has seemed to evaporate? I can't get a return call to make a very simple repair. Very odd.
