I had Kolton from Vander Hyde out for a simple dryer gas line update, and during the inspection he uncovered a very serious and potentially life-threatening issue with my water heater, including a carbon monoxide leak. His professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were exceptional. I’m genuinely grateful, he may have saved my life. I highly recommend him and Vander Hyde.
We had a great experience with VanderHyde. Their texting system made it incredibly easy to reach out, and they responded to our inquiry within minutes. We thought our water heater was failing, but they were able to schedule an appointment just a few hours later to take a look. Andrew arrived promptly and was kind, honest, and thorough. He quickly identified the real issue and suggesting what he would do to prevent further issues while also noting he would need to get the parts, so the install would be the following day. Andrew completed the water-heater extension installation and sump pump repair and explained everything clearly. Quick and excellent service from start to finish! Thank you!
Kevin M was awesome, he was very knowledgeable and kind while repairing our furnace. He had to go up onto our snow covered roof on our warehouse to get to the unit and was happy to help us out. HORRIBLE. Was told we would get back the majority of the almost 3,000.00 from the service tech Jeff. Was told we would also get back the warranty $, at an undisclosed amount. This part would be an over night to 3 day delivery. Which took OVER 3 weeks to get in, and I had to continuously call to see if it was in. It took OVER a month for them to come back out with the warranty replacement part. Tech said we had a list of things that needed to be fixed appropriately. I asked for this list to be written down and emailed or mailed to us so we understood the "to do" list. I called a few times asking again for list. "Nothing". I have a different last name than husband, so when I called they could never find my name, so I started using his name everytime after that. The warranty check was suppose to be 3 to 5 weeks out from July 8. It’s now October 24. Received check for 500.00 just 2 days ago. A check with my first name on it and husbands last name, which in turn I can NOT legally cash. I’ve asked a couple of times to reissue check with a correct name on it, and they have not yet answered this particular question. I’ve asked for a face to face meeting and they have managed to scoot around a real answer on this question as well. Now, I’m just waiting to see how long it takes for them to reissue a check I can actually cash, or answer me that they will or not. I’ve even offered to come and pick it up in person. A co worker is starting their adventure with same people and that story is starting exactly like ours.
Quick scheduling for service call when it wasn’t an emergency. Very polite and extremely knowledgeable. Found cause of our backyard outdoor outlets shutting themselves off and on "randomly" (hidden inside garage outlet triggering). One outlet is in moderate to poor shape and gave us estimate to replace in future. Would recommend technician and company highly.
Our Furnace started acting up . We had it evaluated by 3 different reputable companies . Vander Hyde Service was the best . They replaced the furnace and thermostats. Work completed on time. They communicated about every step .
