Customer Reviews
Pasadena Water and Power Department has a rating of 1.7 out of 5 based on over 80 reviews on Google
The current working system within the Pasadena Water and Power Department is very inefficient, and many mistakes have been made. This raises concerns about possible corruption—decisions appear to have been based on personal benefit rather than the well-being of the people living in Pasadena, including decisions involving personnel and officers. Where should an investigation begin? With the mayor, or someone else?
If I can give no stars, I would do so this is a very low down business. I have never called a utility company any type of utility company to pay your bills to where you hit the prompt you follow instructions and then it says we’re sorry we cannot complete your call. This is not the first time as long as I’ve been in Pasadena on and off something is always wrong with the system. I have reported to the supervisor and the manager they say they’re working on it. I need to discuss my bill and I can’t even do so with the live person. This is very sad and then the customers are the ones who will have to suffer if something happens with an extra Bill amount that’s placed for that month. It’s not fair and it’s not right for Pasadena to get away with this, this is poor. Unacceptable customer service and it’s making me feel very, very uncomfortable.
Story short we have a business in pasadena on August 8 2025 they close our main entry withouth any notice and not emergency work and that cause we lost lots of customer that we already give apointment in advance for weekend ,I called city they have no clue that they crew are here .that's why city of pasadena turn to ghost town they are not business friendly and they don't care
What a fantastic building structure. It really looks so well constructed, You would think it was just bulit.
I've been trying to call the office they don't pick up the phone it's not that hard to answer her phone
It shoud be ZERO STARS. PWP sucks. When they changed their system last year, they messed up my automatic payment. I kept paying and they rejected my payments AND started CHARGING LATE FEES. So every time I pay, they penalized me. I accrued more than $200 late fees . When I called, and that is, IF they answer their phone, the customer reps were so RUDE and condescending and refused to help solve the issue. They blamed me for paying my bills and accumulating late fees and basically called me stupid. I finally paid my bills by going to City Hall. On top of that, they invalidated my automatic payment and forcing me to pay by credit card on phone, which was fine with me until 2 months ago, their phone payment system stopped letting me pay and I now have to resort to either paying it at the city hall personally or write a check. I have not used paper checks in years and now I have to order paper checks from my bank. They are making it hard to pay my bill conveniently. Who does that? Really not good business sense. Their online payment system is so confusing and NOT AT ALL USER-FRIENDLY. I think they are not treating their customer service reps well so they are bitter, overworked, sullen, and rude, and most likely need further rigorous proper training in customer service. I wanted to email the proper powers that-be of Pasadena Water and Power but I can't even find the right email address of the right person or just the name so I can write a snail mail. Anyone know who the right person to contact about this issue?
Why is it so difficult to transfer me to a real person, and why does it just end the call when I’m using the automated system. Seriously just 2 options? Automated system isn’t able to answer my Questions
