Woodland Electric

I spoke to Craig today on the phone. I had an issue with a refrigerator in my garage popping a GFI. He was able to walk me through some steps to see if I could fix it from the house without a service call. After taking about 15 minutes to talk to me on the phone, I was able to get it figured out without him actually coming to the house. When looking for a reputable electrician, I’d say that’s a really good start in the right direction. I was prepared and told him I would pay night hours or holiday time, etc. as I needed to get these fixed Right away. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we have a ton of food in In there. I will definitely be calling this company for any electric needs that we have in the house moving forward. Greatly appreciate your help!

Within 30-40 minutes of calling Craig was in our driveway. He took a look at the problem and gave us a solution. Craig also made sure we understand everything that might go wrong. Then with our approval he did exactly what he had described. 5 STAR RATING from us.

Spoiler alert...This was a front-to-back great experience! I had a somewhat unique project involving a fairly new power storage system that not many electricians have experience with. Craig was upfront about not being familiar with the system but expressed enthusiasm to investigate and confirm if it was something he'd be able to take on (first time for everything, right?). He studied the product documentation from the manufacturer and came over to assess the rest of the installation (which included a new sub-panel with various loads moved over). He was very thorough in his assessment and even provided me some insight into some of the age-of-home related caveats, ensuring that I understood the process to properly and safely move specific circuits over. As they say, the devil's in the details, and many of his steps and processes were very mindful of my property and forward thinking to the eventual drywall repairs I'd need to perform. He took his time to perform cuts as cleanly as possible, making it much easier for me to cover the exposed walls now that the inspection has completed, which is not something he was obligated to do at all (I always consider any such project a potential redo of wall finish). Speaking of inspection, it passed with flying colors! I had the same inspector come over for prior work performed by another company almost 7 years ago and he identified a number of things that needed fixing for that electrical company. No such negative marks this time around, all was expertly done to code and as clean as can be. He is VERY responsive and very easy to converse with. As you discuss your project, he listens well and shares his own thoughts and insights along the way. I have additional projects I'd like taken care of by expert hands and will be contacting Craig and Woodland Electric for all my property's electrical needs.

I contacted Woodland Electric to get assistance with my home circuit breaker panel. The owner stopped by in a very short time, gave me an estimate and began procuring the additional breakers I would need to bring my panel to a much safer operating condition.The service provided was exceptional and performed very professionally. The home is very old and they changed out all of my breakers, rearranged them to meet code suggested locations. I was very pleased with the service and the cost was reasonable and to my expectations. The owner of my building did not tell me that he had hired a company to fix the lights, as he asked me to do so. Unfortunately, he scheduled Woodland Electric to come and the lights had already been fixed. Woodland had a tech show up and the quote was not needed. Craig wasn’t happy about this, which I don’t blame him, which is why I paid the $350 fee to for their "shop minimum". Still this did not satisfy Craig as he continued to be snooty through email. He even went as far as going on my business page and leaving a bogus bad review claiming WE are terrible rude people when he had nothing but positive interactions with me and paid a fee that I truly wasn’t obligated too as I am not who hired him. He also stated in his "review" that the center he had NEVER even entered was dirty and disgusting. This is terrible business practices and speaks volumes about Craig’s character. Not to mention $350 shop minimum to give a QUOTE and what it would cost to repair 3 lights? I’d recommend a different company.

Woodland is very easy to work with and was able to help me install some new outlets and replace old ones. This was a very easy company to work with and he worked fast and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone

Craig was phenomenal! He came to the rescue at the last moment to repair 6 of our inoperative kitchen outlets. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. And just like that! I'm back to making my avocado toast. I highly recommend Craig for any and all electrical issues. Jaime Cerna
