Sonoma County Electric

We had 2 issues. First, the power outlet in the upstairs bathroom would always trip and constantly gave us problems. Our home was built in the 70s, and the electrical wiring is a mess and very confusing to trace how everything was wired based on the fuse box (and we have 2 of them!).The second issue, we wanted to have electrical outlets installed in the bathrooms near the toilets for future installs of those heated toilet seats and bidets, just like the ones in Japan! So I asked Lauren if she could do these for us. Lo and behold, she did! It wasn't easy an easy task as they had to crawl thru tight spaces up and below our house to access the wires. Finally when everything was done, she neatly labeled the fusebox for easy understanding, explained everything and even walked me through the process of what to do in case the outlets trip. All through out the job, she was all smiles, patiently working away. And the best part, they cleaned up the areas they worked on. I love that! Definitely 5 stars in my book! Sonoma County Electric offers good quality service. Lauren did an excellent job replacing the electrical panel. The communication was fast, personable and straight forward. The process to get the permits was fast after which I only waited 2 weeks to have the job done. Lauren is attentive to detail and likes to have things looking perfect to the point that she returned a few days later to put a second coat of paint on the panel frame. Many other electricians didn't even offer to paint the frame and were more expensive.

Wow what a great experience with Lauren! We needed a full panel replacement having a Zinsco panel. We already knew that when we started having freaky problems where lights turned on and off and turning on a switch here made the microwave beep. Lauren came out and nearly immediately discovered we weren't getting adequate power to the house from PG&E's street connection. About an hour later, PG&E was on hand to fix it. Back to the panel: it was close to the gas line but Lauren knew how to work with PG&E and the city of Santa Rosa to get all the work permitted without moving. She knew the code, wrote the letters, got us scheduled. The new panel couldn't have a power upgrade, but the Zinsco thing is gone and she framed in the new panel. Looks great and comes with a lot of peace of mind. And she accomplished what another electrician said we could not without digging up the power lines and moving the panel. So if you're reading this review, your research is now complete.....call Sonoma County Electric! She's really that great.

Lauren is the only person I will be calling or recommending for electrical work! We blew a breaker and had weird issues at 6 pm on a SATURDAY. Thought we were screwed for the weekend, but Lauren came within an hour and fixed us right up. She was knowledgeable, funny and thorough. 10/10 recommend!

Lauren has been the most responsive contractor with whom I have ever worked. She showed up on time for our scheduled meetings and maintained professionalism throughout our engagement. Lauren at Sonoma County Electric removed my old Zinsco electrical panel (fire hazard) and put in a new one. She is a true professional, her quote was exactly what I paid and everything was signed off on time. (PG&E, city permits & HOA) She's the best electrician I've ever had the pleasure to work with.

Lauren is fantastic to work with, knows her stuff and often goes above and beyond on the project, but is also respectful of scope and budget concerns. She has helped us out a few times now, and each time a pleasure.
