On June 27, 2024, while out of town I received a call that my rental property was on fire and that the tenants would have to relocate. I received a call from several companies but decided to go with GSI General Inc because I had heard that they could handle the type of damages that I had. Sure enough, Bennie Clark and his team came in and did a great job. He sat down with me to lay out the scope of the project and how each stage would be completed. This has been over a 9-month process, but I was always being updated and sent company cam photos of the property during various stages. In addition, I wanted to make some changes during the rebuild and Mr. Clark would walk me through the cost impact of those changes and also ensure that aesthetically it made sense to move forward. I'm always leery of contractors following through on a project if there are issues; however, Mr. Clark took care of issues that came up and made sure that i was good. If you're looking for a reputable company that does good work and has a good team of people working with him, I would suggest GSI General Inc. If I ever have a need in the future, I'm definitely going to reach out to Mr. Clark because not only will I be taken care of I'll actually learn something throughout the process.

I had a house fire 4/24 I set down with several contractors however GSI Inc. was and is perfect. They work for private homes as well as commercial. It was pleasure to work with Benjamin and Taylor They took care of business, comforting, and with insurance arrangements. Understanding life living in the process of fire and fire damages. I am pleased and words can only begin with Benjamin, Taylor and his contractors he work with. Each one where not only professionals they were gentleman hard at their work. Thank you.

Wow these guys do fantastic work! My wife and I were mid remodel on a newly purchased property. We were working with another general contractor at first, but were unhappy with the timeline and the uncertainty of the budget. We contacted GSI and started work with them immediately. Things that I really liked about working with Benjamin and GSI: - Very detailed scope of work. Benjamin sat down with me and went through one line item at a time, making sure that I felt comfortable with the quote and the work that was being done. I really appreciated the level of detail, and the fact that he cared enough to walk through it with me, instead of just sending it via email or another method. - Responsive. Communication was key for me while we were going through this. I needed to know who was going to be at the house, when they were getting there, and what work they were going to compete. Benjamin was great about doing this, and would answer the phone anytime I called with a question. - Craftsmanship. The carpenters, electricians, painters, etc all did a fantastic job. The work looks incredible, and I can't believe they were able to get it done as fast as they did! Overall, the job was done on-time, and on-budget. If anything, they actually did more work than what was originally quoted for me. We recommend them to anyone going through a home renovation project, big or small, and will definitely use them again for future home improvements! A++

We had an excellent renovation experience with Ben's company. We modified our stairs to the basement and installed a new staircase leading to the second floor. We worked with architect Berry Wang who worked seamlessly with Ben. After a couple of meetings we recieved a very detailed quote describing all work excluding electrical work. After signing the quote demolition started a couple of days later. Ben's demolition crew delivered outstanding work with immaculate cleanup. The carpeter crew worked very hard and finished their work quickly. We did the insulation ourselves with instructions from Ben. He was all in favor of us doing as much as we can. We were albe to safe an significant amount of money that was quoted initially. This process was very relaxed. We payed three installments by check as described in the contract. The drywall crew was okay. They used drywall sheets we owned and used them all with a lot of waste. They also did a mediocre job cleaning up. We learned that drywall installation and mudding is followed be the demolition crew cleaning up. Because we continued living in our house during the renovation we did the clean up ourselves again saving money that we quoted initially for this work. Rough and final inspection was uneventful without any issues. We highly recommend working with Ben. We has you covered and will work with you in order to safe money without cutting corners.
