He explained everything clearly and made sure the job was done right from start to finish. The work came out perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Definitely recommend them if you need any waterproofing done!

My basement kept having puddles of water alongside the partition wall between my neighbors home and mine.. i’ve asked her to address it but she was stalling so i had to take matters into my own hands. I contacted 2 waterproofing companies, B Altmans being one of them and decided to go with them for their reasonable price and the extent Barry went through to explain to me everything in detail over the phone. He was on vacation and still answered phone calls! From start to finish, he checked in with me, and explained thoroughly the whole process. He even referred me to a public adjuster after we found out this water problem was stemmed from my neighbors broken water pipe! Marco was professional, a very hard worker and always on time! He finished the whole job himself in just a matter of days. Altmans also provides lifetime warranty on their work which is a huge plus. I would totally recommend them to family and friends!!! Photos show water damage and mold, and the waterproof barrier Marco created to help block out water!

Barry's workers did a very detailed job waterproofing my basement walls. My home is from the 1930's and the basement would leak when it rains. Everything now appears very well sealed and protected to prevent any future water intrusion. I appreciate their efforts!

B Altman just repaired three basement foundation cracks in a home that I own. They did an excellent job repairing them. They were very professional explaining what needed to be done and what was being used to permanently seal them. It took two full days, worked very neatly and protected the surrounding area from any damage. I would recommend B Altman to anyone looking for a similar repair project. Their work is warranted for life and the warranty is transferable to a new owner when the home is sold! A very satisfied customer!

My house’s basement has water leaking problem, my friend told me need to call the basement waterproofing company to fix the problem. So I do the research and call the B Altmans waterproofing, only they do the same day estimate. Steven is very nice and professional, he told me why is water leaking and how do they fix it. They finished work on one day, because it needs time to dry out, Marcos came back on Sunday to put everything back and installed back washer machine and dryer . Friday was raining all day, right now I still don’t receive phone calls from my tenant , that means no more underground water coming out!!! They are do really good job!

Avoid this company at all costs. The owner, Barry, is super rude and is barely there in person to oversee the job. He is a very combative person on the phone and somehow diagnoses problems without physically being there. He absolutely overcharges for the work because even his own workers were shocked by how much he charged for the repairs. He also increased the price on me by $2500 halfway through the job claiming they did more work than expected but I don’t know how that’s supposed to be my problem, when he should’ve physically been there himself to give me a quote to begin with. I question if they even know what they’re doing because they had to come back and redo my repair 3 times because I was still having leaks. And when he had to come back a third time I had to continuously hound him on the phone to come and it took about a month until he finally showed up - he makes you really work for that lifetime guarantee. I’m honestly very confused by how he has so many good reviews which I think he solicits from customers for a better price or gets Google to remove any bad reviews he gets by reporting them as fake. Working with this company was a nightmare and they are really unprofessional. I hope people get to see this review before it gets taken down as well. I will continue to post this review if it does. I also did not use my real name in this review because this company feels very shady and I fear any retaliation from them, so don’t trust the owners response to my review. I think my review is a little too specific to be fake.

After being ghosted by another contractor, I reached out to Barry regarding a foundation crack and hit the ground running with an inspection the next day. His team, including Steve and Marco, were on top of everything and the work was done within 2 weeks. If anyone needs work done regarding a foundation issue, I strongly recommend B Altman’s because they were very easy to work with and got things done quickly and efficiently. Look no further!
