They do an excellent job and are willing to come out at whatever time works for you. Very knowledgeable and professional. Great communication every step of the way. James came to our house in 2021 and replaced our lower panel. Excellent experience. Last year, a windstorm left a huge dent in it, and we thought we would need to replace the whole door. After 11 months of parking outside, we finally called MCG. Jose was able to fix it with a couple struts and new springs. It works GREAT! Jose also switched out an old rusty chain opener, to a newer belt opener in less than 30 minutes. He even helped program our old remotes to the new opener.

On time arrival, clear and understanding of situation while offering solutions to choose what works best given the circumstances of the time. Sadly did not get photos of before and after. First day there was to install a self provided motor. This turned into a entire garage including hardware swap due to the condition and oddities that the rollers were in alongside the bottom panel and original install being sub par to say the least. With the timing of the garage door swap decision it was getting late in the day when suppliers start to close but he was able to make it happen and come out the next day. Bossmans worker was learning the ropes and the garage door install portion on the second day he tackled on his own. With the attention to details shown, it was clear that the company itself has a high standard of work and aims to make things right. Example of making it right was one of the rails was not perfectly laying where it needed due to garage concrete beveled ledge being a couple inches too far needing to be notched for a more proper door fitment and close. He asked before chipping it and i said go for it. Then when all assembled, slight inch off on one area when manually opening and closing door that could cause an issue at some point, he detensioned spring and got all the adjustments completed before proceeding further. Alls to say by the end it closed and opened without any abnormalities. Everything that was improper prior was corrected. Bundled with a 10 year warranty, they are an easy recommendation. Highly recommend to any in the DFW area, affordable pricing while being clear and concise for why they suggest a potential change.

Called this company at 11pm on 11/19/25 with an emergency garage door failure. I live close to Bishop Lynch High School, where one side of the neighborhood is wealthy and the other side is the ghetto, so you can't have your garage door open all night for the thieves to ravage. Our tech Jose was here in 30 minutes. He was awesome: nice, personable, and he's a pro at garage repair. Had the garage door back on the tracks and running great in less than 30 minutes. Could not more highly recommend Jose. Be aware there is a $189 after-hours fee to come outside of regular business hours, so your repair will be very expensive. This business and Jose are great!

I love using small businesses and I hit the jackpot with Jose and his company My Choice Garage. Jose is honest, and extremely friendly. He does not up-sale and is very reasonably priced. I am extremely picky since my day job is architecture and Jose is the only one I will ever use on any garage repair again. I will be recommending him to all my friends!

Jose came out late on a Friday night for a last minute garage door repair and had it up and running before he left. He was professional, friendly, and respectful throughout the entire visit. The price he quoted was exactly what he charged, no surprise fees or upselling. He made the repair look effortless and walked me through the process step by step, even giving me tips on how to keep the door in great shape long-term. While I hope I won’t need another repair anytime soon, I’ll definitely be calling Jose again when I do.
