Garage Door Excellence

While shopping around trying to find a company I could trust to replace the garage door springs that had broken, I came across Garage Door Excellence. I spoke with Mike via Yelp and he was the only person who answered my questions with clear details in a very timely manner. I had been with contact with several others who were either too slow to respond or didn't provide me the information I needed to gain their trust. I scheduled an appointment for the following day. On installation day, Dakota gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way. Unlike other installers, he didn't wait until the end of the time range to come. He called right at the start of the time range and arrived on time. He completed the installation within about 1.5 hours and kept everything tidy. He also went the distance by oiling up the wheels and tuning my opener to the point that it makes a lot less noise when opening/closing the garage. I had my spring replaced 7 years prior (by another company), but even after they were replaced, my garage still made a lot of noise. Whatever Dakota did, he used his magical wizardry to make my home a lot more peaceful. I highly recommend Garage Door Excellence. Their pricing is very competitive, and you get MORE than what you pay for!

We had a very bad experience with another business and had to tell them to leave and then called Mike to help us with our emergency garage door repair need. Turns out Garage Door Excellence and Mike had also helped us about 5 or 6 years ago. Dakota came as soon as possible and did a great job installing a new motor and repair for literally 1/3 the price of the other crooked fly by night guy... Beware out there!!! I thought I had researched them thoroughly but they used fake local addresses and web sites plus fake reviews. I almost got scammed but Garage Door Excellence saved us and I highly recommend them.

I had a garage door that was experiencing issues with opening and called Garage Door Excellence. They came to my home and determined the problem and were able to quickly fix it and perform a service on all of my doors at the same time.

We were late for our son’s school play when…Oh no…the garage door wouldn’t open! Turns out the torsion spring completely snapped, and I had never dealt with this issue before. Later that day (after making the play) I contacted multiple garage door repair vendors in the area for quotes. Most of the quotes for the spring repair were similar in price, but what stood out to me about Garage Door Excellence was that Mike’s response was much more informative and personable than the others. He was also upfront in answering my questions about potential replacement of my outdated LiftMaster unit. I scheduled an appointment, and Dakota appeared the very next morning. He was also very knowledgeable and helpful, and I never felt like they were trying to upsell anything. I wound up going with two high cycle springs on their recommendation. Even though slightly more expensive, the added durability would be worth it since we open/close the garage door several times a day.
