This location is absolutely trash if you have a good case worker good for you if you don't plan on making numerous phone calls leaving voicemails and emails for them to not contact you about pending benefits. They need new staff at this location that will do there jobs and make sure their clients are given the proper information and updates. All I can say is good luck.
Went there looking for my cat. The front desk were supportive and helpful. Showed me how to fill out paperwork. Gave me the QR code to upload a picture of my cat, took me back and help to look through to see if any matched my cat. Very helpful and supportive.
My experience was great up until it was time for review and interviews to reapply for benefits. Tanya had absolutely no communication with me for over a month. I understand they must have a lot of clients , but a simple phone call or email would have been nice. I waited over a month just to find out that I’ve lost my benefits, due to income being over the required amount. These benefits are for people who can’t afford to get groceries at all or even enough to feed their family. So going over a month with no communication to me what so ever is completely unacceptable. These people are supposed to help, and from the other reviews I’ve read, they aren’t doing that. All in all the communication was terrible. It’s great and informative when finally being reached out to. Other than that, it’s a struggle.
How is this place any help??? How is this place providing any kind of help at all??? I have been calling the office, and my case worker, for DAYS, I have sent emails, text messages, NO ONE responds, no one gives a shit, and then will close your case and make you wait the maximum time they are aloud to make you wait which is 31 days. This is terrible. Do better, HELP PEOPLE, if you don’t like your job LEAVE, toying with people’s lives and benefits is not okay!!!!! I just Moved here from Arizona and in Arizona this NEVER NOT ONE SINGLE TIME, was an issue.
Why do the front desk staff be so rude or mean seems like they have an attitude lmao like do you not want to be here today ? Do you not like your job ? Damn you speak to a person very happy and all tell them have a great day they just rude don’t say nothing back well not all of them that one that sits close to the entrance please SMILE MORE. Be happy it can’t be thaaaat bad light skin lady geeesh
Now this is ridiculous. Someone answered and hung up the phone the first time that was 15 minutes and now another 35 I refuse to hang up. I will update this again to show the end time my phone is on 100% and I have nothing but time.
We really need to do better as far as customer service and not even that , but having people skills. It’s no reason we walk into a building without being greeted , but just told to stand in line. The rudeness , the dismissive attitude and the lack there of common courtesy is disgusting each & every time I have to come in here which I DREAD already. Being I work for a state agency as well it is disheartening to see others in the same setting be everything BUT compassionate and ready and willing to work the job you applied for.
