OGD Overhead Garage Door

Our technician was friendly, efficient and extremely skilled. We had 4 garage doors, all in some state of disrepair, and all 4 are now working better than they EVER have. One door needed a new spring, one a new unit, one was missing a wheel and the 4th needed the lasers moved and re-programmed. John assessed the issues, gave us a fair price and did all the work same day. It's not easy to find skilled laborers with skill and amazing work ethic but this young man had both and a great personality. We were the last stop and he worked until midnight! Thank you John Plummer for making our experience a very good one. We would recommend this service to anyone that needs any kind of garage door repair!

He was thorough, professional and nice to work with. Made my day! I appreciated the same day service.

Our garage door spring broke on a Friday evening, leaving us in a bind. After calling around for help, OGD was the only company that could send someone out on Saturday to replace the broken spring. However, when I contacted them, they were unable to provide an estimated cost for the repair. I was informed that the technician would need to assess our specific type of spring before giving a price. When the bill arrived, I was shocked to see it nearly reached five hundred dollars. Some quick research revealed that the average cost for replacing a similar spring is around three hundred fifty dollars. While I understand there was a service charge of fifty-nine dollars, I can't shake the feeling that I was overcharged. Moreover, the technician who came to our home was not wearing any identifiable uniform and had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. This lack of professionalism was surprising and disconcerting, especially for a company that claims to uphold high standards. I can't help but worry that if my wife had been alone with him, she would have felt uncomfortable. On a brighter note, I do acknowledge the promptness of the service, and I found the process of dealing with the company to be smooth overall. However, the shock of the bill and the technician’s appearance undeniably overshadowed these positives. I feel compelled to share this experience to highlight the need for transparency in pricing and professionalism in service.

John was very nice and keeping me informed when he would be here and that he had to stop and get some supplies so not to keep me waiting for him. He let me know so I could do some other things till he got here. I appreciate that very much. All it took was a phone call and I know it sounds simple, but it meant a lot to me as a customer When he got here he was right on the job. He assessed it quickly. He fixed it and very pleasant to be with cleaned up his mess before he left. He brought all the tools that he needed and Parts this is the second time I’ve used you guys and I recommend you thank you again

Called in this morning and Jaylin was at the house in about 2 hours. Awesome. I did the YouTube "education" and installed two new torsion springs. Door went up a couple inches and came back down. YouTube never mentioned this problem. Couldn’t figure it out and called the Professionals. Jaylin diagnosed and repaired all, checked opener and cables. Door works great! He was very professional and respectful. I will call OGD if I ever have any issues with door in future and will recommend them if any friends or neighbors ask "who knows a garage door company." Thank you.

Do not use this company!!!! Outrageously expensive. The tech was nice, but I had done my homework, and they tried to charge me $700.00 for one that should have been in the $300.00 range. That was after my senior discount! Also, they have bothered me relentlessly to leave a review - HEY, OGD here's your review!!! You're terrible!
