OGD Overhead Garage Door

Had 1 panel on my garage damaged. Called OGD to come repair the garage and the salesman who came out tried to get me to replace the entire system, motor included. Stated they cannot replace just one panel and need to replace the entire garage door, rails, springs and motor. Total cost $2350. The current doors were from OGD and installed in 2012. Shady business practice from a big company. Called local and having the panel replaced for $600. OGD is a rip off that will take advantage of you, call local not this nationwide brand. Update: Garage panel was replaced by ABC garage door for $650 and the panel was purchased from OGD who said they could not replace just the panel and needed to replace the whole system. Again shady business…

We had a spring break on one of our doors and OGD was able to schedule a service tech out on the same day. Communication with both OGD scheduling and their tech, Mason, was seamless allowing for us to plan our day accordingly. And their tech tracking software "Seevice Titan" allowed us to know exactly when to expect Mason’s arrival. Once he got here he was quick to diagnose the unique problems we had (heavy door and commercial grade drums and springs) and identify the parts he would have to track down. So while it wasn’t a same day repair because of how many different items he needed that weren’t in his truck, he was back first thing the next day and did a quick and professional replacement of our brackets and springs. I would definitely recommend OGD and Mason for any quick and professional repair work! A+++

I would never use OGD again. They sent 2 different inexperienced installers. Brackets were crooked, supports were installed crooked. The first tech cut several holes in our drywall…keep in mind this is a brand new home build. We just finished the garage when the holes were cut out. The third person did correct all the issues. To be fair they discounted our invoice. I would never trust them to the job correctly the first time.

I am totally pleased with the service and expertise offered from OGD. I got a service technician the same day to look at my garage door issue. Kevin was knowledgeable , listened well and solved the issue. He gave me tips to maintain my current garage door. I appreciate the efficiency of this company.

When I questioned the price of 2 extension springs $795 which was almost as much as I paid for the motor with this company. I was told "we offer a warranty and you will not have to replace them every 3 years or you can go with someone else and have them replaced", followed up with "I’m just saying". So I said paid for the service call and told him to go about his way. I did not like his tone and his snarky attitude. I went with the other company and will never call you guys back.

Who looks forward to a garage door repair? But, when the service technician explains, addresses, and completes the repair effectively and efficiently; it makes the experience rewarding. OGD and their technicians deliver!
