Review for Haney garage door repair. I’d like to start by saying don’t ever use this company! The guy they sent was very friendly however I could not understand him. They duck taped the connections together and left it unsecured when I paid 2k to have a system installed correctly. Not take short cuts because they are too lazy. They used the old wiring from 2002 and then on top of that the garage door opener was making weird noises right off the bat. When I called to ask about them running the new wires when installing a new system John was originally nice and professional and said they would send someone out the next day to get it done the right way then no one ever came! Then I called and he said oh sorry I forgot to call you a truck went down and no one could make it out until Tuesday. The following day I got a message saying they would come out on Saturday so I called him to confirm that and he said oh no that shouldn’t of gotten sent out we already agreed on Tuesday and I said well if you could come out Saturday that would work better but he said no Tuesday. So I took the day off work so I could be here and then I get a message about the time being delayed and around 3:30 I looked at it again a noticed they changed the day not just the time to the following day! I called in the afternoon because I just had noticed the day was also changed and mentioned we had talked about it being today so I took work off and that’s not right. He said no one could make it because the truck was down and he said it’s not his fault I’m just now calling him that he tried calling in the morning. It doesn’t matter that he called in the morning because I had already taken the day off so they wasted $400 of my time to change it for a 3rd time in a row! I’m a first responder so it’s already not ideal to not show up and they wasted it. Very unprofessional and rude. Stop taking on new jobs until you complete jobs you already have the right way! Not ghetto rigged up. I’ll post pictures of their duct tape jobs and just leaving the wires dangling instead of secured to the wall like it was before they touched it. I would give them zero stars if I could. If I could go back in time I would have never used them. Do yourself a favor and avoid the trouble. They ended up coming out and redoing it but left all the stables they pulled out on the ground! Bryce was also nice and friendly like the first guy that came out, I will say that but doesn’t feel good stepping on a staple…

What a joke. I spent over $3000 on a new garage system two years ago, and I asked the technician to come back out because the sensor wiring appeared disconnected, and my door was no longer shutting consistently. Tech came out, wiggled the sensor, and told me $300. I asked him why, and he said that he wanted to lubricate my door and replace the sensor. I told him I need you to reconnect the sensor. He would not do that as he was here. I looked on the Internet, and it is a $30 part. This is not OK. We have asked him to disregard our request, and we will no longer be going to Haney's doors. I removed the electrical tape myself to see if I can fix it and to no surprise, they didn't properly connect it in the first place. Watch out for price gouging.

He programmed all my remotes and even helped me set up my phone so I can use it as a remote too. Josue was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. Dan was the fellow who came to my house. He is knowledgeable and efficient. He made short work of replacing the 35+ year old opener. He made sure all the remotes (including my car) were programmed, including the setup for my phone to function as a remote. I highly recommend this company and personally recommend Dan.
