Jim was prompt on our Appointment and immediately asked for details of the problem. Very courteous and went to work resolving our problem. He was able to find the issue and had the garage door working! We are very Satisfied with Jim and feel he is a very Professional Employee. He is an Good Representative of your Company.

Let me start by giving credit where it is due. Mike with SGD showed up on time and was great to work with. He explained options to fix or replace our door and answered all our questions. My issue is the cost of the service and parts. For a 20 minute job, we were charged $250 in labor. For a $20 door strut, we were charged $220. A reasonable profit is expected, but an 1100% markup on parts is ridiculous. Good service and availability (service provided the day after reaching out for support), but please shop around and understand what you are paying for.

I've put in multiple service request regarding our brand new garage door that we had installed back in January 2025, but the issue has not been completely resolved. However, Ethan and the SGD team has been trying to make things right and putting in great effort. I appreciate the service and communication. I really enjoy my new garage door despite the small issues.

I had two broken garage door springs that needed replacement. When I called, I wasn’t given a quote upfront but was offered a free on-site visit by a technician. The tech was friendly, professional, and completed the job in about 30 minutes. After a bit of negotiation, the final price came to $500, plus a 3% credit card fee, totaling $515. While the service itself was excellent, I found the price to be quite high for a standard repair, and not providing a quote over the phone felt like an unnecessary tactic. Overall, 5 stars for the service, 1 star for the pricing. Averaging out to 3 stars. I may consider another company next time, especially since many others have strong reviews as well.

i scheduled a repair on-line for a broken spring replacement, and was given a time slot for when they would arrive. They arrived outside that time period but did not contact me to let me know they would be late. I paid $565. I thought the material pricing was fair but $200 labor for 15 minutes I felt was quite excessive. The technician was friendly and professional. I appreciated them completing the work but likely will not call them in the future....

I had an appointment scheduled between 7-9am. When I called at 930am to check the status of the tech, I was told he got a flat tire but he'd arrive around 10am. SGDR called back shortly after today they were short staffed and no one would be coming that day. I'm disappointed in their communication and I believe I was lied to about the reason a tech didn't show up.

We called for someone to come out and check our garage that broke before winter. We didn’t expect to have someone out same day and to fix it in less than an hour. I believe his name was Greg (or Craig), but he was friendly, quick and efficient and now we have a working garage again! Thanks so much, we should’ve called for their help sooner but glad we did!
