Can't say enough about my experience with Delaware Express. My old garage door decided to identify as a paper weight and needed to be replaced. They came out...fixed my old one up while getting the new one order and couldn't be better to deal with during the whole experience. Big thank you to the team especially Joe who went over and above in the heat today to knock out the project. Will happily recommend to all my friends, family and frenemies 🙂 Great price, people, product and service.

We had a garage door installed early 2024 by DE Express Garage door service. 2 days ago, on a Saturday, the springs came off the wall. The unit was hanging over the car and we were unable to get the garage door to open and get our car out. We were worried the whole whole system might come crashing down on our car. We left multiple voice messages and managed to get an appointment first thing Monday morning. The two other techs who came in fixed it and since this company installed it for us in the first place, it was covered under warranty. One of the two seemed quite experienced. Other one, probably a trainee. Overall, i wouldnt criticize them too much as there are still some talented technicians there. There is accountability and they took care of it right away. But, knocking off a couple of stars because I wish the technician who installed it last year had done a better job and wish they had a 24 hr emergency response for situations where there could've been car damage.

Completed high lift conversion on both garage doors. What a difference. Night and day compared to what I had before. Update… I was going to let my review stand but not after the second visit. The trim around the garage door frame with gasket seals was never installed around the doors. The installers told me that I seem pretty handy and that it would be less expensive for me to install. What? It should be included in the install!! After they left I called to have it installed and it was over a month before they came back. They left the second time with the single door rubber gasket gapped more than 1/2" gap down the left side. They told my wife to have me use a heat gun to warm the gasket and bend further towards the door so it forms a seal. Seriously. The customers are supposed to be handy and have the tools to finish the job that Delaware Express was supposed to do? I have a heat gun and it didn’t work!!! They also said they couldn’t program the outside keypad to the new openers. I thought maybe it’s out of date. I called Lift Master tech support and we got the keypad working. Lazy is all I can say. The never removed the rest of the hardware from the doors where the old openers attached. The whole point of having the high lift doors was to make room for the car lift I’m having installed. For whatever reason, there is an extra 3’ of rail for on all four rails for both garage doors. My guess is they didn’t want to move the ceiling brackets closer to where the top of the garage door is in the full up position. Circling back to when they first arrived for the original install. They didn’t have any wood to mount the new wall lift device to and spent two hours getting the the wood after going round and round with your dispatcher or whoever was going to bring the wood pieces. Why would t you have this on your truck already? They purchased pressure treated lumber for whatever reason. Now I have to wait 6 months for it to dry out to paint white like the rest of the trim. Cleanup of the worksite was weak at best. Drywall dust everywhere along with lift motor bracket screws left in the drywall for whatever reason. When they cut the original brackets for the tracks with a grinder, the sparks flew all over my tool box, rubber pad floor and car cover. You need to train up on OSHA. OSHA considers grinding metal sparks as a potential fire hazard, classifying it as "hot work". This means employers and employees must take precautions to prevent fires and injuries associated with grinding, including using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring proper machine guarding, and implementing fire prevention measures. I cannot recommend Delaware Express for your garage door needs. Response to the below. It was not the seal for the bottom of the garage door. It was the seals around the sides and top of the doors.

They're the best garage door experts in northern Delaware/PA! Prompt on phone, quick appointment, carry all tools, experts who'll never overcharge and will always do a great job! I've suffered 3 other bad firms (high price, poor work) before I found them. Led by Dana, others like Joe, awesome team!

I had an excellent experience with the entire team. Tracy was wonderful and personable in coordinating the scheduling, and Dana and Chris were both professional and great to talk with while they completed the installation of my new coil garage door pulley system. I believe customer interactions should be positive for vendors as well, and this team made the process truly enjoyable. I will gladly recommend their services to other homeowners in my community.

Overall, had a great experience with DE Express Garage Door Service. Made call in the morning and Owner Dana came out that afternoon to analyze issue. Next day his technician Chris was able to install new spring and upgraded hardware for the garage door. Issue resolved. Job well done!

I called on a Saturday afternoon and Dana immediately called me back. He was able to talk me though the problem with my garage door and I was able to fix it! I am very appreciative of the fact that he took time on a weekend to help me. I will definitely reach out to Delaware Express the next time I need any help with my garage door.
