If it is a hawk eye, the hawk is a must to be blind. We bought our first house and had no experience what to pay attention to, so we were counting on "the professional." We have lived 1.5 years, and since we moved the roof, all of a sudden leaked, floor is sinking, pipe underneath the house was fixed 5 times, plumbing underneath the kitchen sink gave up 1 month after purchase. The A/C is the biggest joke - the day we moved in, the temperature in the house was 90°!!! The system is not the proper unit for the house, and it would be obvious for professionals. Highly not recommend this company for buyers. Sellers, especially those who want to hide issues - this company is your best friend.

We had an excellent experience with Hawkeye. Rob inspected our new home in July. He was responsive when we first contacted him, punctual when he came to do the inspection, and he was extremely professional. He provided a detailed report with photos, and an awesome list of recommended service providers as part of the inspection report. He also went above and beyond and came back to our house on short notice to look at some cracks we discovered in the wall. He graciously agreed to complete some paperwork for our insurance company and again provided a written report with pictures. I would HIGHLY recommend Hawkeye!

We used Hawkeye for a home inspection on a new home we are purchasing. He was easy to setup, very responsive and thorough. He got the report quickly and it was easy to understand. He was also very pleasant and personable. I would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

We used Hawkeye on an old house we are buying, and we could not be happier. We dealt with Rob, and he was thorough, friendly, and precise. I know it's his job to check everything, but he checked stuff we as the home buyers didnt think to check. He didnt mind me asking questions, or tagging along as he did his inspection. After it was all said and done, he sat us down explained what he found and did I mention how thorough he was? He took pictures, had all of his notes in a binder and printed it out for us to take home and look over. If we ever buy another house, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be contacting Hawkeye to do the inspection.

Had home that I was renting inspected so that I could discuss purchasing with the owner. Hawkeye inspection did a great job and they were very friendly. They put together a list of items and discussed each of them individually with me. They also did this in the midst of my 2 and 4 year old running around and wanting to "help" them on their computers. They even printed off the report and left a hard copy in a binder with me. Had time for all my questions and made recommendations. Professional and courteous, would do business again!

This guy cost me a lot of money. Inspected my house twice. Once when we bought it 3 years ago and 1 month ago. Both times he missed several major issues with plumbing and sub flooring issues. Also missed a wood boring beetle issue that will cost me thousands in the sale of my home. Roughly about 15 - 20 thousand thus far , as of August 2018 to be exact. This guy must of read a basic book found at Lowe’s on home inspection. None of these issues could have possibly occurred in the 3 years we’ve been in this home. Not to mention the mold and water damage he barely caught on the second inspection, I have kids in this house and would have been nice to know prior to buying. He is a complete joke in this profession. Maybe should stick to inspecting dog houses or sheds!

We used Hawkeye Inspection Service to perform a home inspection. We found them to be extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Buying and selling a home can be stressful, but they help to give me confidence in my decisions. I would recommend them to anyone who needed a home inspection.
