He’s got a calm reassuring demeanor and the technology they use is awesome I fusing flir for thermal imaging. I was in the process of purchasing a home built in 1916 and I decided to use The Smart Inspector to inspect my home. Man, am I glad I did! I was really nervous about buying a house that's so old and I was expecting there to be a lot of issues to address which had me very anxious. My anxiety was eased after the home inspection was completed. Forest was extremely thorough. He even went underneath the crawl space (pier and beam) and inspected all the piers in the house, verifying that the foundation work done by the previous owner was done well. Obviously with it being a 1916 house there are plenty of issues but they were all documented by Forest with pictures and once the inspection was done we reviewed each individual item that was found by him and he explained to me in depth why its an issue and if I should worry about it or if it was just a minor inconvenience. All in all, I am really happy that I hired The Smart Inspector and now I feel like I can close on this house with confidence.
