AEI Inspections

AEI conducted a home inspection for the house we were purchasing. The report identified several minor issues that needed to be addressed. Notably, the concrete slab outside was leaning on one end, but the inspectors confirmed that the house foundation was in good condition. However, two months after we bought the house, we began to notice that the doors were starting to stick. I called a foundation repair company to evaluate the situation, and they informed me that it would cost approximately $10,000 to repair the foundation.

Chad arrived on time; ready to go to work. He was a pleasure to work with. He made sure we understood what he was doing and what our situation was. He did a very complete inspection of our property. AEI Inspections provided exceptionally thorough structural, EMP (electrical, mechanical, plumbing), roof, and termite inspections on a property that we were currently under contract on during March 2025. During these inspections, each of the professionals discovered multiple issues that the property owners had not disclosed. The cost of these issues was quite substantial! Not only did the professionals communicate and show us those issues during the inspection, but their reports were extremely detailed-oriented. We were grateful for the expertise the professionals had (three of the team had over three decades of experience each), as well as the clear communication they provided!

Horrible communication, zero accountability. Their recommendations have us needing another estimate and additional piers five years later. They blame Perma Jack and Perma Jack blames them. USE ANYONE ELSE!
